I have been working at Wells Fargo full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

Diversity and customer service is a main ideal held at Wells Fargo. Focus on how I made you feel.

    Cons

Sales sales sales! They have a quota system, which I understand. It needs to be more middle ground.

    Advice to Management

Happy workers, work harder. strive to better understand where people are coming from.

I worked at Wells Fargo full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

Experience in finance industry, easy interview process, flexible schedule, promotes within

    Cons

All about numbers, meeting quota, audits are unrealistic for home and life balance, shove information in your face a week before audit and they force you to learn what should have been trained all along

    Advice to Management

Approve more people for loans if you want tellers to meet quota

I worked at Wells Fargo full-time for more than 10 years

    Pros

Loved the coworkers and the customers. Not so much the management. Hated cold calling on mandatory evenings. Had to sell so many items before you could go home!

    Cons

Employees have lives outside of work. Kids have things at school they would like their parents to be there for, but can't cuz we have to stay and cross sell. Customers get tired of having products rammed down their throats. Mgmt. needs to lighten up!

    Advice to Management

Family should always come first. When you work in the community you live in, you know your customers. Talking to them at their kids baseball or soccer game about stuff is more relaxed and gives you insight to their needs. They open up and respect your taking the time to show them they are important to you.

I worked at Wells Fargo for more than a year

    Pros

Friendly coworkers and nice office setting.

    Cons

Communication was either non-existent or inadequate. HR and managers constantly flip flopped on their decisions. One day they would say one thing, then the next day it was another thing. I was not given adequate resources to perform my job, which by established industry standards was enough work for several people (not just one person).

    Advice to Management

Advice to Management... Close shop in Canada. Advice to Canadian workers: DO NOT WORK FOR WELLS FARGO CANADA... no matter how desperate you are for a job.
