    I worked at Wells Fargo

    Pros

Great company benefits. Very fulfilling work for the customers you could help. The hierarchy was very structured as well.

    Cons

On the phones constantly with customers losing their house. Constant regulation changes made it harder and harder to hit bonus.

    Advice to Management

I feel that the company was very micromanaged. Multiple tiers of bosses you would get projects from. I would say to keep it as constant as possible would help.

    Advice to Management

advice to management would be to keep doing what your doing and also make sure you are staying upbeat as the stories we listen to sometimes can get you down especially when its day after day

I worked at Wells Fargo for more than 8 years

    Pros

Good benefits, provides free coffee, tea, etc.

    Cons

Advancement opportunities not good, Stress is overwhelming, talents of workers often overlookded, not a caring company to general staff, does not care about workers personal lives, worker fired while her daughter was battleing cancer

    Advice to Management

Get a heart, cut CEO salary, 17 or 18 million dollars annually is a sin in a wealthy society that does not want to share the wealth or pay a minimum wage of at least $10.00!

    Pros

Provides 16 hours of paid time to volunteer in the community. A great deal of knowledge can be gained from working in this position.

    Cons

Low wages and an extremely stressful environment. Unreasonable expectations and low moral due to the low pay, stress, and unreasonable expectations. It has become a true sales environment.

    Advice to Management

Appreciate the employees and improve moral; actually sit down with reps and understand what it takes to achieve goals.

I have been working at Wells Fargo full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

It is a central hub for many different departments pertaining to Home Mortgages. Great place to cut your teeth on the mortgage industry. It’s always changing, and co-workers are always helpful in helping with work related questions, and insight.

    Cons

Work Load is unrealistic, department is shrinking as mortgage sector is resolved and less home owners need help. Federal Government has put some unrealistic guidelines that has Wells Fargo documenting aspects of the process out of fear of litigation from the home owner, or the government themselves. CFPB is the OSHA of the banking industry.

    Advice to Management

More direction on how this job prepares you for other departments to move outside the Home Preservation Team. The training should also include an aspect that focuses on the career path, and not just what needs to be address month to month. How are you going to grow your employees to be more than what you need right now? This could create more loyalty if you take care of their future, and not just your department goals.
