    Fun job, lots of interactions.
    Corporate recognition.
    Promotions from within.

    Cons

Im always striving to make more money at whatever I'm doing-
There arnt many cons, apart from maybe a little lacking in the procedural training of employees within certain regards.

    Advice to Management

Communication is the key, clearly communicating between team members will create an overall, better workplace (better in the sense that it will be more fun, effective and productive).

    Pros

Money was decent enough to stay for a bit

    Cons

I got treated terribly as an employee. I felt picked on and even though I did my best I was always getting one on ones and warnings. Manager called me "slow" more than once. She is no longer with the branch because of the complaints I and another employee had.

    Advice to Management

Hopefully by now the management has changed. Terrible people. Quantity over quality mindset for sure

I have been working at Wells Fargo part-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Benefits, bonuses, most team members are very friendly and welcoming. Decent hours and decent pay.

    Cons

Company claims to be interested in their employees advancement but it is more of what the company can get out of their employees

I worked at Wells Fargo full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Good pay, great paid time off, promoted within company to deserving employees. If you are good at sales, they have decent incentives as well. Plus, it helps to get you from job to job. You can start applying for promotions after 6 months in your current position. In a year's time, I had already jumped 2 spots.

    Cons

WF has very high sales goals, for each individual, not just the company total. The goals are the same for each job family in each store, no matter the traffic. In a very high-traffic location, sales seem to come on their own. This drives the goals up even higher. But in a slower part of town, employees can get written up for not meeting the same goals even though it is almost impossible without unethically forcing products onto customers.

    Advice to Management

All people are not wired the same. Just because one person is a great salesperson, doesn't mean everyone can be. Sometimes the goals themselves can deter a person from trying because it seems so unachievable. That's what happened to me. Take a look at traffic vs attainable goals. Keep ethics in mind. I knew several PBs that got their numbers, albeit they did whatever it took, not always in the best interest of the customer.

    Pros

Prefer hiring within, great chances to move up with company.

    Cons

    Do not pay very well
    Benefits not very competitive

    Pros

Work/life balance is pretty good with the exception of having to work the occassional Saturday. Decent benefits package, As a legacy Wachovia team member, pay is very good compared to the same position at other banks. Can't say the same if you are a new hire.

    Cons

The incentive plan is not very equitable. Same goals for all bankers regardless of whether you work in low volume or high volume store. If you care about relationship banking, this is not the place for you. It's all about how many products you can sell in one sitting. If the business is not coming in, then be prepared to get out and harass others at their place of business to try to get checking accounts.

    Pros

Large great opportunities else where not in alabama and huntsville bad market upper management not that great leads to problems

    Cons

to get promoted you have to jump through hoops and at the end of the day favortism is shown based on likes and outside things not performance

    Advice to Management

Do work for them unless you are a professional brown noser, Doing your job is not enough if you are a great brown noser you will go far together with them just like the advertise

    Pros

The benefits here are really good. Before 2009 they had really great quarterly contests as well as monthly bonuses. It used to be really easy to make bonus.

    Cons

Wells Fargo Financial closed after reassuring employees that they would not. Also they give management free range with employees so there were really no set rules in place.

    Advice to Management

Some managers were great, others not so much. Do not be afraid to listen to the ideas of your staff because they sometimes know more than you.
