    Pros

Benefits are decent. Not too expensive.

    Cons

Micro managed. Managers manage to check a box, not really to help. Constant turn over in position hurts customers.

I have been working at Wells Fargo full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Bonus is great if you can hit all 3 required tiers, but due to voluminous pipeline and low quality applications submitted by loan officers, it's rare you'll earn it.

    Cons

Horrible management, unrealistic deadlines and job duties, long hours with mandatory OT, lack of camaraderie, thankless position despite the insane amount of work you do

    Advice to Management

Work as an HLP for one week and see that the amount you keep putting on our plates and expecting us to complete with 100% accuracy isn't possible. We are the unsung heroes in your company.

    Pros

Diversity, Flexibility, and they'll work with you to further your career. They have locations throughout the US and are beginning to advance internationally.

    Cons

Limited upside financially, but also a lower limit as well, which is nice. International exposure is limited but growing.

    Advice to Management

Keep doing what you think is right. Don't follow, keep leading.

    Cons

sometimes stressful sales goals and pressure, currently restructuring so might not be the most stable place to work, but overall good job

    Advice to Management

Former Employee - Credit Manager in Indianapolis, IN

    Pros

They offer a decent base salary, considering it is a sales job. You also have set hours with some overtime required, but you can have a good work life balance and put in the time to be successful. It is a decent work envieronment. Most of the people I met at other offices and my own were generally younger. They recruit a lot of people right out of college, and most of the offices did offer a pretty fun environment, as long as, the office was doing well.

    Cons

The products offered are not very competitive. They expect you to sell high rate, high fee products. It is an aggressive sales environment. The bonus structure could be better, especially when you look at the kinds of rates and fees you will be forced to sell. Managers get compensated based on the branches proffittability, so it benefits there bonus.

    Advice to Management

Change the bonus structure to be comparable to other mortgage sales positions.
