        Disapproves of CEO

I worked at Wells Fargo full-time for more than 5 years

        Pros

        Great stock to potentially short.

        Cons

Wells Fargo Securities fired a bunch junior, and sometimes even senior, staff for violating the expense policy. For some people, it was accidentally ordering food just a few minutes prior to the 6:30pm deadline just one time in his/her career. They reviewed receipts going back three and four years. They ruined careers.

        Advice to Management

Wells Fargo is officially too big to be fixed. The culture is toxic and permeates everyone - from senior to junior staff members. You don't realize it until you leave. My advice is to do shareholders a favor and break the bank apart!

        Pros

        relatively flat structure, large platform

        Cons

extremely strict, unforgiving, HR is the Gestapo

I have been working at Wells Fargo full-time for more than a year

        Pros

Great opportunity right out of college. Learned a lot about the investment world. You dictate how much you want to learn

        Cons

Administrative work can become very boring. Can get by without knowing a thing about investing by just pushing buttons without a true understand of what’s going on

        Advice to Management

Educating and mentoring would be beneficial to foster interest

I worked at Wells Fargo full-time for more than 3 years

        Pros

Great place to begin or end a career in IB Strong reputation and a real player in capital markets Balance sheet gets foot in the door with leading companies Pay is in line with the street

        Cons

Primarily U.S. focused and very risk averse which limits the types of transactions you'll work on M&A platform needs to start pulling its weight (top 10 on the U.S. league tables in every other product) Like other firms, politics can be a challenge and there are a handful of VP/Directors who will ruin your experience if you're placed in the wrong group

        Advice to Management

Figure out whether you really want to be in the business and act accordingly. Not participating in half the market (international / Fin Sponsor deals) isn't a long term strategy to move up the league tables

I worked at Wells Fargo full-time for more than 3 years

        Pros

Good company if you are under the right person, I wasn't. Really hard to deal with the recent fraud but they seem to be trying to get out of it.

        Cons

You don't want to work under Kurtzman. Unattainable goals, all pressure, in it for himself, poor leadership. Find another leader and you may do well if you can get out from under their recent fraud.

        Advice to Management

Don't be impressed just by a degree from a ranked school.
