I worked at Wells Fargo full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Decent benefits. Good continued training available.

    Cons

Ethics and values of the higher ups is just for show. Managers are not loyal to staff. Me me me mentality. Great is still not good enough. Fake atmosphere - Everyone scared of losing their job.

    Advice to Management

Atmosphere does not feel like anything is your choice. Not everyone can be a manager or vp. Pushing employees into positions they don’t want but are afraid to say no to builds a team that are not particularly content. Everyone suffers. Constant change, knee jerk reactions. Unhappy staff.

I worked at Wells Fargo full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

Great benefits, A lot of PTO

    Cons

Need improvement with Management understanding that every employee is different and has their own work techniques that work better for them and if those techniques make them successful and they are doing an excellent job and getting a lot of recognition and awards don’t make them change it just to be like everyone else. That can make the work environment so stressful and the morale goes down.

I worked at Wells Fargo full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

    Nothing I have at all

    Cons

Everything, I worked there as a contractor for almost one year and I was harassed, insulted and treated like a slave. The manager had some old employee to walk around my cube every hour watch me who use to keep starring at me. I had to give every seconds explanation to him. I could not even go to the restroom. I used to be yelled by all his full time employees who used to work remotely on phone and used to be dumped all their work.
I would not even work in dream at this place at all

    Advice to Management

    Watch your managers

I worked at Wells Fargo full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Nothing positive to share. Just glad that I'm not woking there anymore.

    Cons

There's a reason WF continues to be ensnared in one scandal after another. It all starts with very 'old school' corporate culture, lack of leadership and the inability to set clear vision and direction by senior mgmt. team as well as management's aversion to innovation and 'new ideas' are contributing to over-bureaucratic, over-regulated, overly political environment that's stifling progress and extremely counterproductive.

    Advice to Management

Get your acts together and recognize and empower team members with talent and leadership skills to make decisions and set goals. Otherwise, WF will continue to trail behind other banks.
