I have been working at Wells Fargo full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

Employer 401k contributions and matching program. There are some genuine people within the organization that make coming into the office easier. With certain positions you are able to work remotely if needed to finish work or assigned tasks.

    Cons

PTO is combined with sick days. Compensation is a joke. I work primarily with sales consultants and most treat you as number rather than an individual. Workload to employee ratio is ridiculous. Constantly working overtime however, not compensated for it. Overtime is treated as an expectation rather than a personal choice. Wells Fargo doesn't seem to value their employees or give them a healthy work to home life balance.

    Advice to Management

Along with cleaning up external mistakes , clean up internally and show that you value your employees and understand their needs and concerns. Happy employees will produce Happy clients!

I worked at Wells Fargo part-time

    Pros

You get good PTO, Dental, Pay rate good, management are friendly, good experience

    Cons

the health benefit is a bit expensive, like 100 a month, 401K doesn't start right a way, benefit were little bit pushy on sales.

    Advice to Management

focus more in customer service rather than sales, customer sometimes get tired from the hard sale environment

    Pros

Great gowth potential. Company is focused on customer service and team member experience to drive growth. Overall employee moral is great which makes for a healthy work environment.

    Cons

At the end of the day sales pressure will continue to increase but that's banking. Politics!

    Advice to Management

Continue to focus on our customers and traditional banking.

I worked at Wells Fargo full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    - Wells Fargo does offer the most comprehensive array of products & services, than any other bank... really making it a place where people can truly have all their financial needs/solutions met.
    - Excellent benefits aside from medical and retirement; offered many other professional and personal resources at no cost.
    - Overall the bank has a lot to offer to customers, it's big, convenient, and make a good attempt at raising an sustaining employee engagement and morale.

    Cons

    - Ethical structuring complete violates its own mission and values; they pride themselves in doing what is best for customers, when in reality it's what is best for the company.
    - Unscrupulous sales tactics and deceiving approaches towards customers.
    - Was hired for one thing, but ended up pushing credit cards, selling unnecessary checking accounts, and begging people at gas stations, and other retail stores to open accounts.

    Advice to Management

Need to restructure their whole organization.

I worked at Wells Fargo part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Our team really became like family. The only thing that kept me at Wells Fargo for so long were my co-workers.

    Cons

The company claims they care so much about customer service. However, it feels like the only thing they care about is sales. Hence Wells Fargo being under a lot of scrutiny over the past 6 months. Thank God I left before you know what hit the fan.

    Advice to Management

Everything is not about sales..... However, I am sure they are learning a valuable lesson right now.

I have been working at Wells Fargo full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Decent healthcare and benefits, paid time off, friendly employees. This is a good place to get your feet wet in banking and if management likes you, you can move up. With the new lack of sales goals you are expected to focus primarily on customer service.

    Cons

Compensation is traditionally on the low end of the scale. If you are looking to get moved from a part-time position to a full-time one it can be a daunting task, or require you to move to another location.

    Advice to Management

Pay your employees better, and focus on improving the training and continuing education programs.
