I have been working at Wells Fargo full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Get along with fellow tellers, and enjoy seeing customers that come in often and creating a close relationship with them.

    Cons

Terrible management. Sales driven work culture very little professionalism. Manager has deliberate favorites. Teller side is very far down the food chain versus the banker side when it comes to value.

    Advice to Management

Act like a manager not a teenager

    Pros

Good benefits. Flexible hours. Great co-workers. Technology is up to date. Pay is better than most other financial institutions for mid-level management jobs.

    Cons

No loyalty within the company and no support from upper management. Sales goals are unattainable and policies are constantly changing.

    Advice to Management

Consistency and loyalty are a must to make any business successful.

    Pros

Great Pay, Good professional environment. Freedom to do as you please as long as you get the job done. Great co-workers

    Cons

Sales goals are unobtainable. Constant pressure and stress from management to get sales numbers. Often late nights just to meet sales goals

    Advice to Management

Stop trying to make employees do unethical things to reach sales goals. The goals are often unobtainable and forced bankers to do unethical things in order to retain their job.

    Pros

OK Salary, Good Benefits, Clean environment.

    Cons

Lots of pressure, unreasonable expectations, lower pay scales, required to work Saturdays, no overtime. No parking space for employees in Jersey City - we have to pay $150 per month for Parking.

I worked at Wells Fargo full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Salary was good for the position, good benefits. Excellent support from human resources that help with personal and work rated manners

    Cons

Constant nitpicking over the slightest oversight from middle management, rarely any positive feedback from anyone only feedback is when you do something wrong. Threatened with termination over a typo I did during a sale. A massive sale that resulted in ten accounts being opened. This was ignored, and the typo was the only focus. Started looking for a new job that day.

    Advice to Management

Stop micromanaging experienced employees. I'm not an entry level employee and expect some level of autonomy. Customers notice the turnover and complain, and the pressure to cross sell products they don't need kills the customers trust for you, and you spend more time fixing problems as a result of opening accounts they don't want or need.

    Pros

base pay is decent but moest make less than I do for position. I had been a manager there and am over qualified for the position. Benefits are good,

    Cons

micromanaging, almost no positive feedback from management. turnover is horrendous. Company culture is non existent. You only exist for your numbers. Work ANYWHERE ELSE BUT WELLS

    Advice to Management

STOP WITH 19 DIFFERENT FORMS TO FILL OUT DO OUR JOB. STOP WITH THE 4 CHECK INS A DAY TO SEE OUR NUMBERS. TREAT US LIKE PEOPLE.

I worked at Wells Fargo full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Great relationships with partners and other team members.

    Cons

Not many chances for relocation or transfer. Pay structure was constantly changing making it more difficult to make incentive. Some managers were not great listeners or took the time out to really listen to team members. Goals were constantly being increased on a constant basis making it more difficult to hit them. New hire training is not lengthy enough before being placed in branch. No mentor program for new hires to work with.

    Advice to Management

Take the time out to speak to the team members other than just store managers. A lot of team members feel that middle and upper managers are unapproachable.
