I worked at Wells Fargo full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Convenient location close to home. Generous paid time off after 3 years.

    Cons

Customer complaints due to recent and past unethical behavior at the bank. No formal training on computer system which is upgraded constantly. Pay is below industry average. High turn over and lack of coverage if employees call in sick.

    Advice to Management

Increase pay to compete with other banks and retain your loyal employees.

I worked at Wells Fargo part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Holidays off and off by 6p during the week.

    Cons

Very sales driven company. If you didn't make sales, you didn't mean anything to the company. You could of have an amazing interaction with customer, but if you didn't make a sale, it was just a waste of your time (according to management). Very uncomfortable. Managers are always micromanaging you to ensure you are doing sales part.

    Advice to Management

    Listen to your employees.

I have been working at Wells Fargo full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

Big opportunities for advancement and leaning on the job (until recently, Sept. 2018)

    Cons

EXTREMELY hierarchical organization, massively disorganized, upper management out to lunch

    Advice to Management

    1. Bring in a new CEO from way outside the company. 2. Concentrate on strengthening your existing org structure and serving customers; stop rearranging the org chart, you are only confusing yourselves.

I have been working at Wells Fargo full-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

Some very compassionate, intelligent people work here. Great place to learn if you have a good manager.

    Cons

Bureaucracy is intense. Most team members are incredibly overqualified and underpaid, I've seen many good people leave. Constantly new rollouts of comp plans or protocols for how to do things, created by people who aren't doing it themselves, so they don't work, hence revising every quarter. Medical benefits are meh.

    Advice to Management

Judge people by character and their actions, not by their current title with the company.

I have been working at Wells Fargo part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

    401K Matching
    Flexible Schedule
    Tuition Reimbursement
    Non-Competitive Environment

    Cons

    Had some very horrible managers.

    Advice to Management

Some managers are horrible and should be fired. They can treat tellers like robots, expecting us to eat lunch around 3 or 4pm because it is busy and they are short staffed. Always tends to be short staffed. Managers need to learn how to properly staff the store and treat employees like human beings.
