I have been working at Wells Fargo full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

Big opportunities for advancement and leaning on the job (until recently, Sept. 2018)

    Cons

EXTREMELY hierarchical organization, massively disorganized, upper management out to lunch

    Advice to Management

    1. Bring in a new CEO from way outside the company. 2. Concentrate on strengthening your existing org structure and serving customers; stop rearranging the org chart, you are only confusing yourselves.

I have been working at Wells Fargo full-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

Some very compassionate, intelligent people work here. Great place to learn if you have a good manager.

    Cons

Bureaucracy is intense. Most team members are incredibly overqualified and underpaid, I've seen many good people leave. Constantly new rollouts of comp plans or protocols for how to do things, created by people who aren't doing it themselves, so they don't work, hence revising every quarter. Medical benefits are meh.

    Advice to Management

Judge people by character and their actions, not by their current title with the company.

I have been working at Wells Fargo part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

    401K Matching
    Flexible Schedule
    Tuition Reimbursement
    Non-Competitive Environment

    Cons

    Had some very horrible managers.

    Advice to Management

Some managers are horrible and should be fired. They can treat tellers like robots, expecting us to eat lunch around 3 or 4pm because it is busy and they are short staffed. Always tends to be short staffed. Managers need to learn how to properly staff the store and treat employees like human beings.

I have been working at Wells Fargo full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Better work-life balance than other IB firms. Solid pay, will match most other BB firms.

    Cons

Still is investment banking. Work is grueling and hours are long. IB culture is across the street so it feels like you are a japanese salaryman from 1960 who just happens to live in a large U.S. metropolitan city in 2018. Exit ops are OK - the WFS name doesn't carry much weight but there are certainly worse firms.

    Advice to Management

IB culture is toxic. Be the better firm and don't let that crap sink into your offices

    Pros

Good benefits, nice people, hire from within

    Cons

Bad pay for work you do, bad management, too much office politics will never be promoted on merit but how much you kiss upper managements behind.
