I have been working at Wells Fargo (More than a year)

    Pros

The benefits are great, the pay I think is fair, corporate has been really appreciating the employees lately with goodies after all the bad publicity last year

    Cons

Constantly being observed by management for improvement. They will observe an entire session with customers and go over everything we need improvement on. Also want us to call every single customer we help the following day, 2 weeks out, and 2 months out. Overkill and annoying to customers

    Advice to Management

    None

I worked at Wells Fargo (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Benefits are great, built long lasting relationships with customers, never bored, always work to do, great dress code

    Cons

Too much corruption, favoritism is out of control, branch management are the main source of the negativity and hostile working environment, overworking the employees and do not assist, unless you become a brown noser, you will have no chance of furthering your career, no bonus, no customer service incentive payout, you report your concerns to HR and nothing happens, and they always side with Management until EEOC gets involved

    Advice to Management

Make better decisions when hiring Branch and District Management, listen to the employees, and do more action, because there are alot of illegal acts that goes on in the branches, from Racial discrimination to retaliation to defamation to theft,etc...... Wells Fargo retention is sky high because of acts like these. If this continues, they will have more legal troubles.

I worked at Wells Fargo part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

The schedule was pretty flexible and I was able to work when I had time.

    Cons

The job was pretty boring. I spent most of my day waiting on customers to walk in.

    Advice to Management

I always looked VERY professional - think J Crew work line. I was told several times that my wardrobe wasn't appropriate because my pants would rise above my ankle. Some of my co-workers had on mini skirts and that was considered appropriate. I never understood.
