I have been working at Wells Fargo full-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

They are a huge company and you can go far within the ranks of the company.

    Cons

It is tough to get through to recruiters if you are trying to move to different departments.

I worked at Wells Fargo full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

Good people work there from security to the cafeteria. Benefits are decent. Retirement is possible if you work on it. Secured Building. Career Development. Community & Culture Connections. Networking is huge plus. Lateral movement is encouraged.

    Cons

Negative Publicity. No department can stand alone so all suffer production at the same time at times. Constant change on how to run a department year in to year out. The number of loyal workers being displaced. Company policy prohibits active employees to give a quality reference for future employment.

    Advice to Management

Talk is talk & sounding the same as the next is not management skills. Action on your part is necessary to prove culture of caring exist in a team's environment. Management must lead by example for your team & should be a company standard. Some good will come from your team. If you don't like to participate, then you're not management material.

I have been working at Wells Fargo full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Great benefits. Paid volunteer time and paid holidays

    Cons

All male management (in my team), cut throat work environment, statistic based rating system. Favoritism is clear. Expectations are not clearly stated to the whole team.

    Advice to Management

A little competition is healthy but you’ve made it so that everyone is throwing each other under the bus. Teamwork is encouraged but then you say we rely on one another too much. Too many conflicting messages received.

I have been working at Wells Fargo full-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

    Good benefits like tuition reimbursement

    Cons

There is some favoritism and some employees feel unimportant

    Advice to Management

The new policies for district managers that have them only communicate with branch managers make all other employees feel inferior

I have been working at Wells Fargo full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

    Advancement opportunities
    OK benefits
    Allows 16 hours volunteer time

    Cons

Upper management, their superiors, and higher are corrupt as heck! The so called change only impacts community banking while other divisions of Wells Fargo operate under the old environment. Partner channels have ridiculous goals and constantly lie to CB partners to achieve SALES and REVENUE. If you want to get micromanaged, ridiculed behind closed doors, and be affiliated with sub par, classless people - join this bank. The things i have witnessed and continue to experience is crazy, unethical, and not aligned with the new core values WF continues to market. ALL BS... and if you are business owner, RUN FAR FAR AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY! And i would not trust any money with any advisors either. WF continues to hire unqualified candidates as no one wants to taint their name working for this company - i'm leaving soon but scared working for WF could have damaged my reputation. And if you are a minority business owner, do not ... DO NOT bank with this company!!!

    Advice to Management

Leave, you all are corrupt individuals and contradict everything you say by your gutless actions.

I worked at Wells Fargo as a contractor

    Pros

Periods of little work to catch your breath

    Cons

The Corporate Trust Services makes you feel like a robot in competition with your coworkers to get enough work complete fast enough. They are moving towards fully outsourcing all work to India and the harsh changes between overtime and nearly no work to do are hard to maintain.
