    Pros

    Get to help customer with financial needs and goals. And also get to know more customers and make long relationships.

    Cons

    Have to be very knowledgeable of legal rules and laws. Sometimes have to deal with very angry customers which sometimes makes the pay not enough for what we do.

    I have been working at Wells Fargo full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

    -great co-workers
    -promote from inside
    -support the community with toy-drives, food donations, adopt a family
    -hourly for tellers is now $11+ and 13+ for lead tellers
    -as of October 2016 no sales quotas
    -friendly and respectful management. also supportive in career choice, medical, accommodations such as injury or specific needs

    Cons

    -because of the lawsuits, nobody knows what sort of quota will be made for year 2017
    -long hours, sometimes 9-10hr shifts with only one break.

    Advice to Management

    For those that stand for a prolonged period of time, offer chairs to sit on.

    Teach underwriters how to effectively review more files with fewer mistakes. Create programs to prevent less risk to company.

    Cons

    Within a large organization it was difficult to keep so many people motivated and property educated on what was expected.

    Pros

    Great company with great vision and values. Everything we do is customer focused and the goal is to help every person succeed financially. There are tons of resources for help in any stage of your career and the goal of everyone is to help you progress writhin the company.

    Sales goals can be steep. Daily calls with your direct manager that can add pressure.

    Time management skills are imperative. A love for people is necessary and a drive for results will help you be successful.

    hands off mgmt. approach autonomy I pretty much can set my own pace and as long as I get the job done, no worries.

    Cons

    advancement path is somewhat limited. our group is centralized and we perform vendor management functions which don't necessarily correlate to the rest of the work our group does.

    New manager did not know what she was doing, got the job through favoritism and it made working for her a lot harder since i couldn't ask questions.
