I worked at Wells Fargo full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

Benefits are great! Work always kept you busy.

    Cons

Many women in the Wealth Management Milwaukee office, believed in glass ceilings for younger women. I fell into this as a young business woman and made it hard to excel! When addressed with HR I was told to stay in my lane.

    Advice to Management

Equal opportunity for all ages who work

I worked at Wells Fargo as a contractor (Less than a year)

    Pros

Good coworkers and convenient location with free parking.

    Cons

Cheap company! They expect a senior level work with an entry level pay scale. It takes a long time to get computer and apps approved.

    Advice to Management

Stop being greedy and start paying contractors what they deserve.

I worked at Wells Fargo full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

There are good 401k employer contribution benefits and health insurance. There was some good training opportunities and sometimes flexibility given the FA you work with.

    Cons

Tried to progress as a junior advisor and there wasn't the ability to progress from this position into one. Very (intentionally) confusing shared commission policy that is completely at the FA's discretion. The base pay was limited and little to no raised or upward movement.

    Advice to Management

Need for better shared commission policy with a minimum requirement necessary for FAs.
