If you do not have a clear career path lined up then it can be hard to identify areas of advancement.

I worked at Wells Fargo full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Help customers grow financially & develop the teammates around me. The money is decent and you get out of the office to build business relationships.

    Cons

Forcing sales down your throat; wanting you to badger every customer. Lack of pay increase during a promotion. Negotiate your money on your initial hire because you won't get it later- trust me!

    Advice to Management

When selecting individuals for promotions be willing to step outside the box and not select those you have worked with or cool with. Also, don't be afraid to listen to your team on problem-solving issues. Empower and prepare every teammate to be the next manager/leader, not just the ones who rank in the top 5 in numbers across the region. Lastly, ensure your SM's are making considerably more than PBI/II and LT's because they are truly responsible for the overall success of the branch!
