I have been working at Wells Fargo full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

A support position that is non customer facing in a casual business atmosphere.

    Cons

Position duties are always increasing without pay adjustment. Increased expectations should warrant and reflect in annual increase.

    Advice to Management

As the worker bees of the group, we regularly feel over worked and under appreciated.

    Pros

    Work/Life Balance

Great pay for interns - far higher than anywhere else

    Cons

    Upper management too old fashioned
    Management is usually long distance
Philly office has no space so new hires are stuck without desk/cubicle

    Advice to Management

    Treat interns better

I worked at Wells Fargo full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Decent benefits, including a matching contribution 401(k) plan.

    Cons

Pay is poor in comparison to its competitors. Poor management in the mortgage division. Limited opportunities to advance in that area. Extremely sales-controlled. Very little concern with risk. Employees are very often disrespected by management.

    Advice to Management

    None. They won't listen anyway.

I have been working at Wells Fargo full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

No sales goals.... for now. PTO/Vacation time and paid holidays off. They recently added a few more paid holidays to pur 2018 calender, which is awesome. That's about it.

    Cons

Good luck trying to advance and move up if you're not, for lack of a better term, an a** kisser. Management acts as if they care about your advancement, but in turn will literally give positions to "favorite " employees... when sales goals left, quality work went with it. If you aren't best friends with your manager, you'll be stuck in your position . Recruiters reach out to managers about employees who are looking to post out, so if your manager doesnt want to let you go.... you wont go anywhere. So while you think you're moving in the right direction, someone is always there to knock you back down. The pay could be better. Saturday hours.

    Advice to Management

Make sure all employees are treated fairly. Favoritism is loud and clear within this company. Hire management that can build, uplift and advance their team members. It's not fair to be held back in a position because your manager "can't afford.to lose you at the branch"
