I have been working at Wells Fargo full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Wells Fargo treats each and every employee as an asset by encouraging employees to continuously learn and grow both individually and as a team. I have never worked for a company that focuses so intensely on supporting its' employees through coaching, mentoring, and encouraging career development.

    Cons

The only cons involved in working for Wells Fargo involve those barriers that employees may create as a result of poor adherence to schedule, or not reaching out to ask questions when necessary.

    Advice to Management

Most always do, but make sure to say good morning to each and every one of your team members! It really makes a difference and makes being at work feel like being home!

I worked at Wells Fargo (More than a year)

    Pros

Flexible schedule, decent pay, good co-workers, workshops

    Cons

competitive, micro-managed, sales driven, too many metrics to try and adhere to.

    Advice to Management

I understand that you need to make money, but lower the sales goals and offer your bankers some time off of the phones to do other activities.

I worked at Wells Fargo full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

Nation wide company with many branches, up-to-date online service website, many benefits offered to its employees and pay is great, training is awesome, many career opportunities.

    Cons

Don'ts always get the shift your wanting when you first start out.

    Advice to Management

The training they provide gives anyone a good base for customer service if looking elsewhere after a while.

I worked at Wells Fargo full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

-Large company, lots of training, learn a lot about customer service and sales

    Cons

-Strong leaning toward selling and not as much toward customer satisfaction. Though I think they are changing that in their culture.
-You really do feel like you're trapped on the phone. But some people can handle that. I couldn't.

    Advice to Management

Offer employee incentives for something other than sales. But again, I think that's changed.

I have been working at Wells Fargo full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Value their workers, 15 an hour full-time with 6 weeks paid training, volunteer opportunities, gradual training they don't throw you to the wolves, opportunities to grow

    Cons

phone banker position is a little boring for me. you take calls and stare at a computer all day, even after 6 weeks of training the calls can still be confusing and you don't know exactly where to go for help once you make it to your team, you dont get to move around in the company until after youve been on the phones for an entire year

    Advice to Management

6 weeks seems like a lot of training, but I would add an extra week of calls with the banker coach team. Make sure everyone is on the same page for procedures and policies, because I experienced a lot of being told one thing by someone and then the opposite from the next person.

Supervisors should actually get to know ALL the representatives on their team.
