I have been working at Wells Fargo full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Wells Fargo treats each and every employee as an asset by encouraging employees to continuously learn and grow both individually and as a team. I have never worked for a company that focuses so intensely on supporting its' employees through coaching, mentoring, and encouraging career development.

    Cons

The only cons involved in working for Wells Fargo involve those barriers that employees may create as a result of poor adherence to schedule, or not reaching out to ask questions when necessary.

    Advice to Management

Most always do, but make sure to say good morning to each and every one of your team members! It really makes a difference and makes being at work feel like being home!

I have been working at Wells Fargo full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Supportive, consistent, team oriented, professional. Good PTO and benefits.

    Cons

Phone work isn't great, pay is about average.

    Advice to Management

Structure pay raises to come sooner when making big adjustments to company pay. People can feel left out, or quit, if they feel they are not being valued and that the newer people are earning more with less experience.

I have been working at Wells Fargo full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    Cons

They used to push the sales model a little to hard.

    Advice to Management

Im glad they fixed the sales model in the call center.

I worked at Wells Fargo full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

The company incorporates a team environment and it seemed that everyone from the supervisors to my coworkers were always willing to help. The training process was legit as well and did help prepare for the actual job itself.

    Cons

Way too much focus on handle time. Mistakes were bound to happen when the bankers felt rushed.

    Advice to Management

Focus more on QA and Customer Satisfaction and less on handle time.

I worked at Wells Fargo (Less than a year)

    Pros

Benefits after 30 days, you may be able to choose your hours/days, desk work, meetings include treats and goodies at times, outside area to get some fresh air

    Cons

The training does not prepare you for the actual job which is literally 5-6 hours of your shift is dealing with Wells Fargo's unhappy, uninformed, hostile, low class and privileged thinking customer base that will blame you personally for the bad business practices of the bank and you are coached to "assist them with a smile" even while being called names, yelled at, cursed at and told you are stupid/rude/inept by the customer, their "BONUS" incentive will be paid QUARTERLY-so if you make (1) Q/A mistake during that 3 months-you don't earn a bonus, if you need to take time off outside of it being allowed/scheduled or get sick rather than just not paying you for missed shifts-HOURLY EMPLOYEES ARE REQUIRED BY WELLS FARGO TO USE YOUR PTO TO COVER ALL TIME AWAY FROM YOUR DESK-ALL OF IT: SICK TIME, HOLIDAY AND PTO, AND YOU GET POINTS AGAINST YOUR SCHEDULING ADHERENCE IF YOU MISS A DAY(S) NOT PREVIOUSLY APPROVED-WHICH AFFECTS YOUR "BONUS POTENTIAL", at times-there will not be (1) available manager/team lead to assist you with an angry/hostile call, you are stuck in the Phone Banker 1 position for 6 months, you are told to try everything in your limited power to NOT have to transfer calls to a supervisor, your coached to deal with any customer situation in under 2 minutes and 30 seconds or you are not doing your job well enough and will have to sit through coaching sessions, the feel is very "high school cliquey" at times with the teams, you will be required ro be moved from one team to another team w/o any prior notice-even if you have a good repore with your current team and they will coach you that "you need to be a ambassador of change", if you have an opinion outside of the expectations-you are a threat to their "culture of caring" and be prepared to sit through "coaching sessions"-very cultlike sometimes.

    Advice to Management

Pay your employees more hourly and stop with the "bonus potential" incentive to have to put up with the verbal abuse you require them to endure from your customers; if employees don't show up, just don't pay them for time missed not pre-approved-do not require them to use their PTO, stop with the 2 minute 30 second customer service per caller standard

    Pros

team environment, flexible schedule, foster development, community involvement, self improvement, relevant feed back.

    Cons

Current press overshadowing the good things this company has, hopefully the push to "make things right" will eventually make this better.

I have been working at Wells Fargo full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Good pay easy job they are very lenient as far as attendance good pro and good benefits. Don’t apply if you can’t sit for 8 hours.

    Cons

Growth is limited to go getters usually only one day during weekend off and bonus is not likely but easy job of you can get yelled At by customers all day. Someone’s has to get yelled at.

    Advice to Management

I just wish management had same experience instead of hiring from outside
