I have been working at Wells Fargo full-time for more than 6 years

    Pros

Wells Fargo Home Mortgage offers the widest range of loan options in the industry. Their attention to customer service is always a top priority.

    Cons

Working for Wells Fargo Home Mortgage cons would be the way the HMC's are required to do additional work that should be done by a processor so that they can have the flexibility to do sales rather than processing.

    Advice to Management

Give HMC's the ability to "sell" rather than be tied to the office doing paperwork.

I have been working at Wells Fargo for more than a year

    Pros

Great benefits, given a salary until you are ready to start building a book of business, The furnishings of the office are very plush

    Cons

The actual work day can be very very boring, People tend to stay to themselves in their offices with the door closed

    Advice to Management

The overall environment is friendly, however I think it would benefit everyone in the office to have more activities

  3. "Good First Job"

Former Employee - Credit Manager in Narragansett, RI

I worked at Wells Fargo full-time for more than a year

      Pros

Sales training was very thorough Good introduction to the world of sales Corporate structure The leads were all company provided which was great for a first time sales job

      Cons

The job could be very exhausting Refinancing consumers mortgages and restructuring their debt was a tough sell when housing values had recently plummeted

      Disapproves of CEO

      I worked at Wells Fargo

      Pros

Great benefits, otherwise a very poor operation

      Cons

Technological dinosaurs, way to big for nimble and adaptive movement

      Advice to Management

Invest in success, people are not commodities. Connect consultants with the vast resources and possibilities within cross-selling opportunities.

      Disapproves of CEO

I have been working at Wells Fargo

      Pros

Good place to start after graduating college. They outline a clear career path that can be followed by obtaining certain sales goals.

      Cons

The pay isn't exactly the greatest (about $32,000). If you're interested in sales and making phone calls to solicit business then this is right for you.

      Advice to Management

Don't know much about management. Wells Fargo is really large and this line of business falls under Wells Fargo Financial.
