I have been working at Wells Fargo full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

hard working, friendly, dedicated people; there are some good departments and teams; decent benefits

    Cons

    unethical management practices; dishonest managers; punishing employees for ethical behavior; questionable hiring practices; no accountable by managers; good people are worked hard and then quickly shown the door; status quo is strongly enforced and the worst of the worst managers are protected;

    Advice to Management

How do we fix this? this is a great company. Please eliminate the CORRUPTION one manager at a time. You have managers who do not know right from wrong. Honesty and integrity are completely missing in some departments and there is no where to turn without getting pushed out. How do you fix that? It will not happen with PR. Let's be honest. This is a human behavior issue about values and ethics. Managers who protect corrupt managers are equally accountable . I suggest staffing up the Ethics hotline so complaints are handled on a more timely basis. And start taking those complaints seriously. And change your hiring process so people are not simply 'brought in' but have the skills and background for the job.

I have been working at Wells Fargo part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Training teacher was very nice and helpful the class was nice really enjoyed meeting new people also the manager was nice

    Cons

The service manager was not very flexible with my kids schedule also they were not working to help me with the timings I needed made me feel like I didn't really belong at the branch

    Advice to Management

You need to treat your new employees with respect and teach the service manager to help them and also not lie to them that you will work around their schedule and then suddenly change your words

I have been working at Wells Fargo full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Very large company lots of different places to go.

    Cons

Everything you have heard in the news is 100% accurate, and only the tip of the iceberg. Some departments are better than others. The work load in my department was impossible, and over time was not approved. We were expected to get it done at all cost or get fired. That included working off the clock.

I worked at Wells Fargo full-time

    Pros

Wells Fargo has good name recognition and nice office space. Locations are abundant. If this was all it took to be successful they would be the best.

    Cons

Unrealistic goals, no management support, Wells Fargo is a revolving door. The managers are great at making promises with no intention of keeping them.

    Advice to Management

My advice to management is to take care of your employees and value your customers. You do not need to keep creating new programs to make up for bad decisions

I have been working at Wells Fargo full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    The company has great benefits

    Cons

They wont hire anyone unless you have a connection. If you are looking to relocate they will somehow find a way to say that there are stronger candidates other than you even if you are applying for the same position you currently hold.

    Advice to Management

    support your team members

I worked at Wells Fargo full-time

    Pros

Decent 401k match, and food was catered in during times of very high volume

    Cons

Overworked, underpaid, new-employee Mill. Too much pressure to hit unrealistic goals and little connection with middle management to realize the gap.

    Advice to Management

Take employee feedback seriously and foster an environment that appreciates and values their employees

I have been working at Wells Fargo full-time

    Pros

    Nothing good about this company.

    Cons

No work life balance, management literally babysits you. Micro management is the norm. Managers will not support you through escalations instead they will blame you. Training is mediocre. Took 8 months to finally earn a bonus despite of what I was told during the interview. No real process for assignments. Insurance is SO EXPENSIVE and coverage is horrible.

I worked at Wells Fargo full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Free food some times to eat

    Cons

I don't get surprised by the news because i have see how they work. This company h as some very dishonest managers working who abuse their contractors for very little pay. They make them work days and nights and refuse to pay over time. They harass them and treat them like their personnel servants. Too much racism , favoritism and discrimination exists. I was harassed by one employee but management didn't take any serious action.

    Advice to Management

Fix yourselves before it is too late.
