I have been working at Wells Fargo (More than a year)

    Pros

-Wells Fargo is so large that they have just about every product and feature available, which is a big draw for people to open new accounts and for cross-selling

    Cons

Because they are so large, sometimes the overwhelming amount of internal information made it a long process to find answers/resolve problems for customers. It often involves calling multiple departments.

    Advice to Management

There needs to be more communication from district and area management directly to non-management employees

I have been working at Wells Fargo full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Great benefits. Bob and Jamie clearly care about all of us which we appreciate. We have great customers and their concerns need to be addressed.

    Cons

So many unhappy employees who complain behind closed doors and then pretend everything is fine. The manager is miserable and starts fights with people on a daily basis. She is harsh and at times very disrespectful of the employees. We try to talk to her but nothing goes through because listening is not her strong suit. I wish our DM and RM would come in there and see how often management is gone and how frustrated our customers become with them being gone every week, only having one teller available even on busy days, no night drop, atm machine issues, one person in drive. The manager's temper and need to control everything is a daily issue. There needs to be consistency and the hypocrisy needs to end. You have to live what you preach not just preach. When we are short handed, you as managers need to step up. The manager has been in arguments and made aggressive comments to everyone in that office even the partners. She needs to take a leave of absence and get it figured out. HR needs to come in as soon as possible.

    Advice to Management

Listen to what we actually say not what you want to see and hear. We are very honest, you just do not listen to us. Also, you need to be there or have someone come take your spot if you are gone all the time. Stop the exceptions and favoritism. Treat everyone equally and fairly. Having kids does not make you more important than anyone else. The aggression and hypocrisy needs to get under control.

I worked at Wells Fargo (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Benefits are great, built long lasting relationships with customers, never bored, always work to do, great dress code

    Cons

Too much corruption, favoritism is out of control, branch management are the main source of the negativity and hostile working environment, overworking the employees and do not assist, unless you become a brown noser, you will have no chance of furthering your career, no bonus, no customer service incentive payout, you report your concerns to HR and nothing happens, and they always side with Management until EEOC gets involved

    Advice to Management

Make better decisions when hiring Branch and District Management, listen to the employees, and do more action, because there are alot of illegal acts that goes on in the branches, from Racial discrimination to retaliation to defamation to theft,etc...... Wells Fargo retention is sky high because of acts like these. If this continues, they will have more legal troubles.

I have been working at Wells Fargo part-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Being about to help people is a passion of mine. My workplace team is a big pro of mine, most of the employees really care about you.

    Cons

Sometimes we feel, we Management doesn't have our back. I am an HR Major so I would rather be doing HR type work, not counting money and making everyday transactions.
