I worked at Wells Fargo full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Can be a collaborative, challenging job where ideas are respected and appreciated

    Cons

With a different manager, it becomes a hostile machine-like environment

    Advice to Management

review the people fired during the 2009 bank layoff - you lost some of the best people then who might be bribed back

I have been working at Wells Fargo full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Great PTO and includes all bank holidays, Healthcare benefits are quite affordable after meeting deductible. After 3 years, you are raised to considerably more time off. 10 minute grace period daily for punctuality as long as you make up the time. Current CEO just in stated 2 extra floating holidays to honor work/life balance

    Cons

Very long period between 3-9 years of service before PTO increases, quite a lot of micromanagement issues. Communication breakdown from corporate level to us as well

I worked at Wells Fargo full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Pay, benefits, advancement, bonuses, transfer opportunity

    Cons

Management, Upper Management, no work/life balance, always asked to stay late & come in early.

    Advice to Management

I started in North Carolina with Wachovia and went through the Wells transition. I LOVED Wells Fargo/Wachovia back there. Here in Utah it's a completely different story. Upper management is catty and unqualified. Very petty and create their own "standards" that conflict with standard operating procedures for the company. After multiple calls to HR on a district manager problems were eventually resolved. I might also add, I was a PB at the time when Wells was being very unethical. I never took part in the practice but all management simply looked away and put those with "lower" (ethical) sales goals under fire.

I worked at Wells Fargo full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Talking to different customers throughout the day. Coworkers are fun.

    Cons

Too much focus on sales...they would discipline you for not meeting sales goals. Management isn't very good. They're unavailable and not knowledgeable. I had one good manager out of four. Consistency varies between managers. There's little team cohesion as employees and management are moved around frequently.

    Advice to Management

Bring management up to par, make teams more permanent.

    Pros

401k plan, telecommute opportunities, and the team members

    Cons

    Advice to Management

True embracing of the corporate Vision and Values across the board.

I have been working at Wells Fargo full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Wells Fargo is a great place to work. They take good care of their employees. Team Member experience is one of their top priorities.

    Cons

Management is always super fun. There are personnel issues to handle, paperwork and compliance things. Any management position is going to have those downsides.

    Advice to Management

Hire the right people, they will make all difference in how your branch runs. Having people who competent and willing to do what they are asked, go above and beyond is a huge value.
