I have been working at Wells Fargo full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Good PTO if you have tenure. Decent benefits. The people that work here are great and truly care about the work they do.

    Cons

A lot of politics and favoritism. Pay is not competitive unless you are hired from an outside company. It's easy to get labeled as "negative" without regard as to what the impact to that team member is.

    Advice to Management

Try not to gather evidence against your team member just so you have something to write in the annual review. It should be the opposite- gathering evidence in favor of your team member.

I have been working at Wells Fargo full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

People treat you decently. Most people try to collaborate. Work/life balance is excellent - very flexible.

    Cons

No evaluation of what works after product launch. Not enough user testing or customer feedback for most projects. Design and promotion decisions made through management relationships, politics, not merit of ideas or performance.

    Advice to Management

Standardize and improve both design and performance evaluation. Give the design department equal control of project and testing budgets, and force collaboration between design and product.

I worked at Wells Fargo as a contractor (Less than a year)

    Pros

    Central FiDi location
    Good work/life balance
    Friendly colleagues

    Cons

    Repetitive work
"Production" mentality - #1 objective is to grease the squeaky wheel
Limited information flow - not kept in the loop about what's going, the bigger picture - had to piece together from colleagues

    Advice to Management

Keep the focus on rebuilding trust with customers, and I'm sure the ship will correct itself just fine

I have been working at Wells Fargo full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Many positions in the current area. The systems and computers used are very easy to work. The benefits are decent.

    Cons

The trust factor is major currently with customers. Also not receiving bonus for my excellent performance without a raise in salary has really compromised my family and household.
