I worked at Wells Fargo full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Wells Fargo treats each and every employee as an asset by encouraging employees to continuously learn and grow both individually and as a team.

    Cons

The only cons involved in working for Wells Fargo involve those barriers that employees may create as a result of poor adherence to schedule, or not reaching out to ask questions when necessary.

    Advice to Management

HR and senior management need direct dialogues with employees, people are too dependent on personality, opinion and advice of their direct manager who will put their personal needs over the needs of the firm.

Streamline the customer experience to be more natural, focus on what can be improved like reducing customer wait times and following though on their complaints.

I worked at Wells Fargo full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Wells Fargo had a great training program. Their benefits are also great. There was a lot of opportunity for growth - with the understanding that you had to make your sales goals. It looks like they have been trying to make some changes that may positively impact their employees.

    Cons

Unrealistic expectations in a rigorous sales environment. Although, in light of the bad press, sales goals have been taken away - I'm sure it's a matter of time before something similar, or worse, takes it's place. I don't see their rigorous sales mentality going anywhere. In the banking world, that's what they have always been known for.

    Advice to Management

You're loosing some top talent to other banks simply on the stress alone. Take time to mold your employees and be patient with them. Change doesn't happen overnight. Reward the effort and not jus the achievement.
