I have been working at Wells Fargo full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Management solicits feedback, both negative and positive. They want to get better. They change policies if shown they don't make sense. They care about people and try hard to make it a good place to work.

    Cons

Recent bad news has been a drag on the company and the stock.

    Advice to Management

Continue to care about employees, don't change policies for the worse because of the bad news and stock price drag.

I have been working at Wells Fargo full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

No aggressive sales goals, Share distribution, Large company with lots of job opportunities.

    Cons

Difficult to move between positions even if qualified, disconnet between the corporate division and retail division (branches). Job progression is about WHO you know not WHAT you know.

    Advice to Management

Put programs in place to help develop you retail branch associates beyond the BRANCH!!!!!, several companies have opportunities for collage students or well qualified branch employees to go into the corporate sector outside the banking center.

I have been working at Wells Fargo (Less than a year)

    Pros

Great benefits ans PT0. Overall, the company is making an effort to rebuild itself after the issues that they have had

    Cons

Unorangized management, which in turn creates a lot of stress on the health and wellness of employees. Very little work life balance, they expect you to stay late and do task that you don’t get credit for. Manipulative management. (This is just what I have experienced at my branch)

    Advice to Management

Go through more training. If you’re a branch manager you should know how to balance a vault and do necessary paperwork without being a chicken with their head cut off!

I worked at Wells Fargo full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Wells Fargo treats each and every employee as an asset by encouraging employees to continuously learn and grow both individually and as a team.

    Cons

The only cons involved in working for Wells Fargo involve those barriers that employees may create as a result of poor adherence to schedule, or not reaching out to ask questions when necessary.

    Advice to Management

HR and senior management need direct dialogues with employees, people are too dependent on personality, opinion and advice of their direct manager who will put their personal needs over the needs of the firm.
