I worked at Wells Fargo (More than a year)

    Pros

The people who work there are great. It is a fun environment if you have good management.

    Cons

There is too much pressure and the quotas are always increasing. If the regional manager isn't good all the branches will suffer.

I worked at Wells Fargo full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    *
Co-Workwers- Wells seems to hire cool down to earth people. I got along with everyone.
    *
Training- Excellent training provided. Training guides are always available for reference.
    *
Benefits- Management is very helpful I'm helping you decide on health insurance, 401K matching, Tuition reimbursement, excellent benefits.
    *
Career Advancement- They definitely look to promote from within if you put forth an honest effort. This fact alone makes them worth working for.

    Cons

    *
Sales Pressure- it is pretty rough here. If you can't produce you will be chastised and transferred from branch to branch until you end up in an in-store. You will be expected to hound customers to open accounts, fill out loan apps, you will be standing behind tellers trying to weasel customers to your desk to give them a solution they don't need. Retail banking, it comes with the territory
    *
Pay- kind of low but not the worst.

    Advice to Management

Ease up on the sales pressure. While you are generating revenue you are hindering your reputation. I am not sure I am in any position to say this, the Board of Directors knows better than me.

    Pros

flexibility they are willing to work with students and the hours range from 20-40 hours, the bonus are good when you compt for sales and customer service

    Cons

very intense with sales and being able to be surveyed on your customer service, management really comes down on you if you do the slighest thing wrong.

    Advice to Management

use a different survey system because what the customer is getting is not specific and of there is a bad survery it should be on the whole branch instead of singling out people.

The only way to get promoted is to be a favorite of management
Tellers get surveyed based on ridiculous criteria which is extremely difficult to achieve
    Low wage
Extended hours plus many holidays taken away
Can't be paid out pto and it doesn't roll over
Incentives are not what they seem you don't get much
