I have been working at Wells Fargo part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

I have learned a lot working here. My current managers have helped reach a point in my career where it makes me want to continue to work up in the company.

    Cons

All the higher ups give unproductive criticism which makes it harder for a lot of the employees to improve their position. It is also hard to move up in the company if you don't have supportive managers.

I have been working at Wells Fargo full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Wells Fargo offer tons of great benefits like tuition reimbursement, 401k matching, paid volunteer hours, etc. There is also a lot of mobility for the patient and hardworking.

    Cons

Sales goals in the past were set high and made it very difficult to achieve the highest payout in slower branches.

    Advice to Management

It would be great if the management took personal evaluations more seriously, and had an anonymous system to receive feedback from subordinates.

  8. "Great entry level position with ability to advance in the company. Fantastic training."

    Pros

Great training, loved my coworkers, benefits included discounts on insurance/ phone service, pto, retirement, transportation, free parking at branches. Loved that I got business cards.

    Cons

Pressure to push sales (of accounts/ services) lead to shady practices by some... eg. during the end of quarter crunch to meet quotas/ enable promotions/ receive bonuses, I was pressured into opening accounts for myself, and friends/ family. Heard the company was recently sued/ fined for it.

    Pros

Strength of balance sheet, diverse earnings, strong credit culture, jobs available throughout the entire country. Preference to promote from within.

    Cons

Missing two Federal holidays, increasing health care costs, you need to be willing to relocate from time to time. Sometimes difficult to be heard.
