I have been working at Wells Fargo full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

The teams I've worked with have been some of the best in the business. There is always room for advancement somewhere in the bank

    Cons

Compensation for promotions internally isn't great. You're better off coming from the outside if you want market pay. Upper management has periodically let us down since 2016

I have been working at Wells Fargo full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Lots of paid time off, great company culture, and lots of training/coaching if you want it. Company also promotes from within and regularly checks in with you to see what your goals are with the company. Management will work with you to help reach those goals. Pretty good worklife balance, you work your 40 hours and very, very rarely overtime. Company actively doesn't want it. When on paid time off, management never reaches out in regards to work and you don't take work home if you're not management.

    Cons

Likely due to past scandals, policy changes at a very rapid pace. It feels like you constantly have to check to see what the new changes are and calling the back office can give mixed results. Coaching can become overbearing if you're not used to it. Sales goals technically eliminated, but it's still ultimately a sales job. This isn't so much a con, but different managers will have different expectations for this aspect of the job.

I worked at Wells Fargo full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Nice 401K matching. Work life balance is what you make of it, and so is how much you make. You can work yourself to death and make a lot, or be chill and make just enough to live on.

    Cons

Big company, so big bureaucracy. Too many annoying meetings.

I have been working at Wells Fargo full-time for more than a year

    Pros

    1) You get 18 days of PTOs and two personal Holidays for the first two years. Afterwards, you get 23 days of PTOs and two personal Holidays. You get more PTOs once you work for the company for more than 7-8 years. You get 4 months paid for maternal leave. 2) There's a backup daycare service eligible for team members. I have a little baby and I use this benefit whenever my babysitter isn't available. You can use 20 days of backup daycare services per year, and I get to pay just $20 per day for one child (company pays for the rest). The daycare I get to send costs $2100 per month if you send him/her full-time. 3) Great management - My district manager, branch manager, assistant manager, and service managers all care about my growth & development and my well-being at the same time. I feel truly blessed to work with great team members. 4) There's no sales goal , which means less pressure. All we have to do is helping customers based on what their needs are, and never force them for any product that they don't want.

    Cons

    1) We get paid less than how a personal banker at Bank of America or Chase does. I have friends work there, and their base salary is higher than Wells Fargo's (of course because they have sales goal).
