I worked at Wells Fargo full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

    Good health and retirement benefits.

    Cons

Terrible company culture. Insane sales pressure. Very robotic. Was asked to do things I didn't feel were appropriate.

    Advice to Management

Add a little human factor. Can't just be black and white. Employees are not robots. Also, need to rethink the sales structure.

I have been working at Wells Fargo part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

I have learned a lot working here. My current managers have helped reach a point in my career where it makes me want to continue to work up in the company.

    Cons

All the higher ups give unproductive criticism which makes it harder for a lot of the employees to improve their position. It is also hard to move up in the company if you don't have supportive managers.

    Pros

Great Pay - Supportive & Structured - Clear Expectations - Open Communications - My Sup's Are Easily Reachable.

Some of the rules and P&P are a result of severe corporate over thinking.

I worked at Wells Fargo (More than 10 years)

    Pros

Good benefits and thorough training. Pleasant work atmosphere and congenial co-workers. Supervisors always available to answer questions. Fair level of pay.

    Cons

Difficult to reach clients during working hours and usually several attempts were required, creating a backlog. Negotiating with creditors was sometimes stressful.

    Advice to Management

Overall, management is attentive and responsive. A period of "shadowing" experienced employees might be helpful.

    Pros

Wells Fargo offer tons of great benefits like tuition reimbursement, 401k matching, paid volunteer hours, etc. There is also a lot of mobility for the patient and hardworking.

    Cons

Sales goals in the past were set high and made it very difficult to achieve the highest payout in slower branches.

    Advice to Management

It would be great if the management took personal evaluations more seriously, and had an anonymous system to receive feedback from subordinates.
