I have been working at Wells Fargo full-time for more than 9 years

      Pros

The sales culture has changed a lot so there isn't any pressure to do sales anymore. They give you a lot of vacation and have great health benefits.

      Cons

All the customers mention the scandals and law suits regularly, so it's a difficult customer service environment to work in. Also, to get promoted you basically have to be liked by upper management and in the "club".

I have been working at Wells Fargo full-time for more than 6 years

      Pros

If you get management who care and support you and your development its awesome.

      Cons

management, lack of trust or communication with in the branch. Understaffed and over worked No clear expectations or goals Very few managers care about others, there more worried about themselves. Company is all about who likes you or who you know. Straight Politics

      Advice to Management

Support your teams, also if you cant discuss issues with your team face to face and resolve them or coach your team you shouldn't be a manager. If there are issues talk to your team and come up with a plan or solution. Ask questions before jumping to worst case scenario.

      Pros

      Decent benefits with okay salary.

      Cons

The environment can be too driven for sales, although I hear this has changed.

I have been working at Wells Fargo full-time for more than 4 years

      Pros

Extensive training and coaching. Also amazing pay and pro benefits

      Cons

They talk about people as a competitive advantage, however Wells does NOTHING for relocating employees. You must apply, interview, and be hired by another manager that can’t ask you about your experience only 8 situational questions preselected by HR. Every applicant internal and external are asked the exact same questions. Also they still hold upper management to goals but managers can not hold team members accountable...

I have been working at Wells Fargo full-time

      Pros

Company is very team member oriented. Pushes for work-life balance and gives tons of PTO eitg additional holidays.

      Cons

There has not been a restructure of middle management salaries. Tellers bow make 4 dollars more an hour then when I became a manager but the manager salary range is the same.

I have been working at Wells Fargo full-time for more than 9 years

      Pros

You meet the greatest of people here. You are pushed to learn and grow your skills and knowledge daily.

      Cons

The company was not ethical in the years of 2009-2015 and they were opening fake accounts and credit cards behind customers backs. The company was sued by the OCC and as a result they took it out on their team members. They always air on the side of the customer even if an employee only followed their instructions and policies and procedures.

      Advice to Management

If you find a good leader to work with and you can deal with the political bull crap that they pull for promotions then this is the company for you

I have been working at Wells Fargo full-time for more than 2 years

      Pros

The road map is gone, allowing you to be more personable with customers. Great 401k match up to 6%. Time off is decent as well.

      Cons

Wells Fargo says they are all about inclusion & diversity but yet your appearance needs to match the “community”. There is absolutely no work/life balance. I open the branch and typically close the branch minimum 3 days a week. Hard to be in management if you have kids. Customers are allowed to disrespect us. If you ask me Wells is afraid of another lawsuit. Observations are back, if feels like we are slowly going back...
