I have been working at Wells Fargo full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

I've worked with Wells Fargo for 8 years, in many different departments. Their encouragement for partnering with other teams and genuine concern for a great client experience is consistent across the bank.

    Cons

The pay is not really competitive, they offer great benefits, but the growth in wealth only comes when you move groups or jobs. And even then it's at the lower side of market price.

I have been working at Wells Fargo full-time

    Pros

Company is very team member oriented. Pushes for work-life balance and gives tons of PTO eitg additional holidays.

    Cons

There has not been a restructure of middle management salaries. Tellers bow make 4 dollars more an hour then when I became a manager but the manager salary range is the same.

I have been working at Wells Fargo full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

The road map is gone, allowing you to be more personable with customers. Great 401k match up to 6%. Time off is decent as well.

    Cons

Wells Fargo says they are all about inclusion & diversity but yet your appearance needs to match the “community”. There is absolutely no work/life balance. I open the branch and typically close the branch minimum 3 days a week. Hard to be in management if you have kids. Customers are allowed to disrespect us. If you ask me Wells is afraid of another lawsuit. Observations are back, if feels like we are slowly going back to the old days when management was down our back.

    Advice to Management

Let team members be individuals, care about your team members. Stand up for us when customers are involved. Allow us to invest in our self WF is not our only life.

I have been working at Wells Fargo full-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

Pay and benefits. 16 weeks paid maternity at 100% if there dor 3 years and 65% if less. Paternity leave doe 1mth. Men can also receivw the 16weeks if they are the primary care giver. Great company.

    Cons

Feels like school sometimes, with all the trainings l, coaching and micro-managing senior leadership forces us to do. Team members have to keep workbook which you have to review. Local leadership sucks

    Advice to Management

    Get rid of district managers

    Pros

Good benefits, banking hours, good opportunities to grow

    Cons

Stressful, often short staffed, lots of pressure to be perfect coming from DMs.

    Advice to Management

Have DMs work in branches as tellers or branch managers one day so they can understand what we go through. There is a huge disconnect.

    401K and health benefits
Easy to move up within company

    Advice to Management

Protect your employees no matter what

    Pros

    Good benefits like tuition reimbursement

    Cons

There is some favoritism and some employees feel unimportant

    Advice to Management

The new policies for district managers that have them only communicate with branch managers make all other employees feel inferior

I worked at Wells Fargo full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Atmosphere is Energetic and Fun while still being professional. Lots of room for growth. Top pay in industry. Tenured teammates are invaluable resources and feels like a family. Comparable benefits for industry.

    Cons

None. The rumors were true. But it’s prejudice to think all teammates are the same. Having worked at many banks I know the fraud happened at each one of the banks. Some people don’t know how to be a personal banker and resort to cheating to keep their jobs. Some managers didn’t know how to teach the bankers to help clients reach financial success and they taught unethical practices. Just like some people can have their skin a certain color and Be or Not be a thug.

    Advice to Management

Team member engagement needs to stay top priority and accountability standards consistent
