I worked at Wells Fargo full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Being a major conglomerate, there is great training, plenty of opportunities to move up and out to different departments. Great working hours at this location, could choose, so I worked 7:30am to 4:00pm. Well-structured, assignments are clear. Relationship with management was good.

    Cons

While there are opportunities to move up and through the company, the process can be quite long, and internal hiring is not as easy as they make it seem when HR encourages such things in meetings. Efficiency of the tasks could also be improved, but at least they took our advice.

I worked at Wells Fargo full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Benefits, 401k match and a stock option purchase plan.

    Cons

Limited growth within Dealer Services unless you are favored by upper management. They do not consider how qualified or knowledgeable you are and only promote those who are “Yes” people. If you are driven and opinionated in how to better the services and process in the dept. then you will be blacklisted and passed up for opportunities to grow and contribute on projects. Management doesn’t value opinions of seasoned team members and expects the world from them in terms of KPI and productivity and in return they get rewarded with low wages, pennies in raises and a department that is in trouble. They are now closing this location among others and moving to save on expenses even though the company just got a huge tax cut. The culture and values of Well Fargo Dealer Services does not exist here compared to that of Wells Fargo and Co. as a whole. The problem is management from lower to upper levels. Among other issues they tend to place individuals in leadership roles for units they have no working experience or knowledge of.

    Advice to Management

Any advice given would fall on to deaf ears, there’s no point giving any.
