    I worked at Wells Fargo

    Pros

Great company benefits. Very fulfilling work for the customers you could help. The hierarchy was very structured as well.

    Cons

On the phones constantly with customers losing their house. Constant regulation changes made it harder and harder to hit bonus.

    Advice to Management

I feel that the company was very micromanaged. Multiple tiers of bosses you would get projects from. I would say to keep it as constant as possible would help.

I worked at Wells Fargo full-time for more than 6 years

      Pros

This is a perfect 8-4 job for lifetimers. The pay and bonus opportunities are decent for the Springfield area, especially if you are lacking a college degree.

      Cons

Not a career! Simply put, glorified secretary position in unstable market. Don't expect your college education to be rewarded (same pay regardless of education). Zero professional development. Aside from padding my 401(k), this position "dumbed me down" and was a professional setback.

      Advice to Management

The implementation of an employee development plan with measurable goals. A motivated employee is a productive employee!

I have been working at Wells Fargo

      Pros

Great family environment. Lots of opportunity to move around in company. Wells Fargo wants you to be successful and is interested in your well being.

      Cons

Management just keeps piling on the work without regard for your personal life. It seems that rarely is the most logical decision made. Too much red tape to cut through to make fix an issue.

      Advice to Management

Listen to those that are doing the job. They will tell you what is working and what isn't. Pilot changes before introducing them wholesale to the entire workforce.
