I worked at Wells Fargo full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Able to run your own practice while benefiting from all the firm's resources. The systems are getting better but still lagging behind other top firms. clearly a banking firm making its way to be a financial services firm.

    Cons

compensation and cost cutting with resources can hamper the employees and make them feel not valued. To have a thriving organization and team it is important to not always cut corners at least not so tightly.

    Advice to Management

technology and materials are key componets to the advisors and cost cutting here does not always benefit the bottom line

I have been working at Wells Fargo full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Get paid well if you are a producer. Bonus are ok if you can hit very high numbers. Get in and get out if you can as quick as you can.

    Cons

In order to be a producer need a busy branch or very creative thinking. There is no traffic and with no traffic hard to make sales.

I worked at Wells Fargo full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

The people are nice...except for compliance

    Cons

They lock you in with a nasty noncompete just as you enter the training program. The training program isnt one, it revolves entirely around cold calling. There is no support for people coming out of the training program. All of the ideas I had to develop new channels were dragged out dramatically long due to compliance problems.

    Advice to Management

Support new employees rather than just try to churn them and disperse their friends and family accounts.
