I worked at Wells Fargo full-time for more than 4 years

      Pros

Decent salary & opportunities to switch branches

      Cons

The sales goals are very unrealistic and senior management is a problem around the DC metro area.

      Advice to Management

Evaluate who is in your senior management roles before you "pick" on the little guys. Adjust your sales goals and the pressure you put on employees for checking accounts.

      Pros

I worked with Wells Fargo for 7 years. Good company to work for; people are friendly, great benefits and the pay was oka,

      Cons

Tough sales goals in a competitive environment. Too much computer training.

      Advice to Management

Need more recognition and less focus on goals. Great service will lead to sales.

I worked at Wells Fargo full-time for more than 4 years

      Pros

They tell you wonderful stories about the company until you face reality and uncover the truth behind close doors.

      Cons

If you have a disability or a medical issue they find anything to terminate you. I can speak about it because they found a very poor excuse to terminate my employement with the company.

      Advice to Management

Stop saying you care when you don't give a damn about your employees with medical issues. You are a fake company.

      No opinion of CEO

I worked at Wells Fargo full-time for more than 2 years

      Pros

Incentive plan was not bad. Not good but not bad.

      Cons

Everything you see in the news is just the tip of the iceberg. People got terminated on a quarterly basis for all of the illegitimate crap they were doing. Sales pressure was nothing like I've ever seen. I was nothing more than a dealer of checking accounts. I make better money with less hours now at a lower level with another company.

      Advice to Management

I'm impressed you deleted goals. Keep that mentality going forward. Stop treating your employees like drug dealers pushing checking and credit accounts. The harassment you allow upper management to inflict to get the peons to do your bidding is disgusting.

I worked at Wells Fargo full-time for more than 9 years

      Pros

Systems/ Technology great! Staffing great, almost too many people! Communication pretty good between managers and district managers. Unfortunately, too much Competition drives unethical behavior!

      Cons

Sales pressure and leadership! Made the weak do very unethical things! Sales pressure in bearable! Legacy Wachovia employee who enjoys and lives for sales pressure, but even over the top for me! Attrition in 2011 over 40%... Finally forced upper management out, took a lot of top employees leaving to finally open their eyes!

      Advice to Management

Competition in sales is absolutely needed, but to what lengths do you go?? Way too far! Keep your integrity, or get it back if you can at this point! Ethics and customer service need to be your priority! How do you fix it now?
