    Pros

wells fargo offers pleanty of opportunity for employees to grow to a certin level providing excellent training and feedback. the company cares about its employees and offers an excellent work life balance.

    Cons

limited advancement beyond store manager position. To stay in retail banking and not branch out into the many other divisions of wells fargo will limit you options for advancement and probably require moving out of state.

    Advice to Management

    keep it up

I worked at Wells Fargo full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

    I started above minimum wage

    Cons

The company is built strongly behind getting the sale to the customer instead of, putting each individual's needs first.

    Advice to Management

If you have a teller, who is struggling with the sales portion of their job, helping them believe in what they are trying to sell is a more appropriate approach than saying, "If you can't make a sale then maybe this job isn't right for you.". I see the the, "old school" character building behind the idea, but people are sensitive, and professionally we have to respect that.

    Pros

The bank has places to grow and move around. Managers are pretty nice if you get into a good branch.

The sales are crazy. Have morning meeting everyday about how bad sales are and need to ask every customer to open something.

    Advice to Management

not so much pressure on employees they burn out quickly.

I have been working at Wells Fargo full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

You will love your job if you love your manager. No if and or BUTTS about it. You are required to sales quite a bit which is fine because you're a sales person. However it gets repetitive and annoying... There is GREAT room for advancement. If you don't mind the low pay then you it'll pay off in the end.

    Cons

Commission is not paid out monthly. As a matter of fact there is no commission it's bonuses that paid out quarterly. You work hard for 3 months to make a very small pay out and that's even if you hit your numbers which are based on a daily performance yea I said a daily performance and not a monthly performance which is so stupid not to mention the goals are so high and extremely hard to hit. But, It can be done...
