    Pros

Challenging, great benefits, co-workers are typically caring- and very interested in sincerely helping the clients find solutions that work in their world- the branch jobs can be very rewarding helping clients and working with partnerships outside the branch .

    Cons

to often dynamic, diplomatic, tactful management is lost

    Advice to Management

please sincerely help your teams grow. being reasonable and diplomatic with tack... the essence of a managers job is often lost.

I have been working at Wells Fargo full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Culture in wealth management is very supportive and customer focused. Leadership is the best I've ever experienced (9 Fortune 100 companies) - challenging, insightful, smart, very strong emotional intelligence and leadership strives to be the best.

    Cons

It's a large corporation and change is not quick. As with any matrix environment, there are competing objectives that require some corporate savvy.

    Pros

Benefits, promotion opportunities, incentive program, and well known bank. None of my listed pros differ from that of most other corporate companies and, or financial institutions.

    Cons

Very demanding and sometimes unachievable sales goals. If you are in branch that has heavy traffic, your minimum thresh hold goals are attainable, but if not you are screwed. High turnover.

    Advice to Management

Switch to a monthly incentive instead of quarterly. Have a company Christmas Party.

I have been working at Wells Fargo full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

none, nothing good to say about this bank

    Cons

stupid, scumbag management that has learned nothing from this whole thing with the fraud. The lawsuit started in 2011 and they still pressure their employees, just not as bad. They still cross sell customers even as I write this. Everyday they have phone calls wanting to know what these bankers have sold for the day. They're crazy, blood sucking leeches and I hate working here. I can't wait to get out of here.

    Advice to Management

    resign

    Pros

Benefits were good compared to industry

    Cons

They took a #1 rated bank, Wachovia, and turned it into a horrible mess. It was so difficult to do business with Wells Fargo that I closed my free employee checking and took it to a credit union and chose to pay a service fee because I was treated so much better. You should know I truly loved my career, but after my second displacement - and the downright horrible treatment of customers, I chose to leave the career because I felt the industry was changing I didn't like the impersonal feel to it.

    Advice to Management

Look back on what First Union gained with the merger of Wachovia. It was a golden opportunity for the employees and your talent team loved their work lives. I happily worked long hours because I just loved my job and wanted to do more. As a salaried person, I could. Then all of a sudden I was told I couldn't do that any more and actually was yelled at for not getting time approved and input. As salaried, I should be able to work when I wanted to.

Also, please change the horrible colors of your logo! It looks aggressive and outdated. It is an immediate turn off when I see the colors. Look at softening your image and REALLY look at keeping your employees happy by treating them with respect. Last thing g, and probably the most important, you are the people your customers the. To for managing their money and financial guidance so start treating them like they matter and not like they are a criminal. When an employee with 20 years in the industry has to go through three different people, giving six different answers to security questions just to speak to some for a simple question - you have serious problems!
