I have been working at Wells Fargo full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Helps build good skill set for future career options.
Benefits are pretty decent (matching 6% 401K, health insurance, decent amount of PTO, etc.)
    Some growth opportunities provided.

    Cons

Low pay considering Personal Bankers make at least $2 extra hourly and you are basically performing the same tasks. Not worth being a CSSR. More work for less money. They take advantage of the fact that you can multi-task (run a drawer and open/service bank accounts). An excuse for WF to pay you less.

    Advice to Management

It really depends on how lucky you get with management. Some are willing to work harder than others. Varies by branch.

I have been working at Wells Fargo full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

In the Private Bank, culture is very customer focused with hard work and employees are rewarded for doing the right thing. Lots of opportunity if you work hard, work well within a team. Most teammates are helpful and leadership genuinely cares about employees.

    Cons

Don't always hire to fit the culture resulting in dysfunctional group dynamics and long periods to get new teammates to follow the model when they have no interest in doing so.

    Advice to Management

Continue promoting the culture that is transparent and following the model is rewarded. Be more thoughtful about hiring and include current team members, especially those who will report to a manager, in the interview process.
