I have been working at Wells Fargo full-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

Stable, Steady work flow. I have worked here almost 9 years!!! Many jobs with the company but 90% were peon jobs.

    Cons

Negativity is contagious on the floor. Under appreciated and undercompensated for work well done. Not ANY flexibility to work from home- only offered to team members who hit top tier in all metrics &&&& it's not really work from home!! ITS WORK ANY OT FROM HOME. Seriously?!!

    Advice to Management

Get a grip, don't treat your teams like slaves, be more understanding as we are all human, promote more, see the potential in people, offer projects, JUST MANAGE!! Management really can't manage people here - they manage the reports!!!

I have been working at Wells Fargo full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Great benefits, such as health, dental, vision insurance. Tuition reimbursement. People tries to get into Wells Fargo solely because of the benefits.

    Cons

Poor pay. Extremely stressful. Higher ups doesn't understand reality. Underpaid employees. " competitive pay" is an excuse to pay less, should pay more and standout from the rest of financial institutions.

    Advice to Management

High traffic branches needs more employees. Do not based the number of employees needed on report rather ask the managers that runs the branch. Better pay.

    Pros

Good benefits and flexible if the branch manager was good .

    Cons

ACTUALLY THE MEDIA SPOKE LOUDER ABOUT IT ALREADY.....Insane sales goals, cross selling , u can get fired for not meeting your sales goals, they can teach some stuff and show you how to do it and telling you it's ethical but when it comes to a customer complain you can get fired for it even though they showed you how to do it but it's customers over employers,...

    Advice to Management

they are all brain washed feel bad for you cause Mr. John Stumpf had the power on y'all please blame it on yourselves before firing a poor employer that doesn't have money to defend himself with a lawyer..

I worked at Wells Fargo full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Benefits - Sales Training - Pay, somewhat - Vacation Leave Available - Holidays Off

    Cons

High turnover rate, aggressive selling standards, short staffed and the standards that were set for selling were not being fully executed by all of our managers in the two stores which I worked. Tellers & managers planning vacations with each other, completely unprofessional. Jokes, Harassment, Favoritism, Attendance issues overlooked and certain people held accountable while others were not.

    Advice to Management

The unprofessionalism and manner that the managers treat any one lower than them who does "just say yes" to whatever they say, has made me feel as if my time as an employee went unvalued and overlooked. The company deserves better than what they offer.

    Pros

Remote work along with decent pay and decent benefits.

    Cons

Company Policy if broken even by mistake they are unforgiving and no warnings or second chances. Your fired!

    Advice to Management

Have more than one person decide the fate of an employee if they mistakenly break company policy. It's not fair to have one investigator decide your fate and ultimately destroy your career and family. Especially after working for you for almost 15 years with no disciplinary issues or any write-ups or warnings for the 15 years.
