I worked at Wells Fargo full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

There are not Pros to working for this company.

    Cons

Training is horrible, management are all "yes" folks, there are too many layers of management so nothing gets done. No accountability...processors and underwriters takes weeks to respond.

    Advice to Management

Learn how to actually manage.....listen and act on feedback

    Pros

Good company reputation and customer service. Company benefits are great. A lot of room for growth. Competitive products and services.

    Cons

Expected to follow a process that is not always reasonable. Bonus structure is not competitive in the industry. Terrible branch manager which made work life miserable and probably not the norm.

    Advice to Management

Roadmap looks good on paper and good for certain situations and clients. Completely unreasonable to achieve in certain service situations but berated when not turning urgent service issues into sales solutions. When someone is dealing with a stressful service issue they do not want to be solicited with unrelated business that management pressures bankers into.

I worked at Wells Fargo part-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Many great benefits, such as pto, 401k, tuition reimbursement, health, dental, and vision insurance. Many opportunities to grow within the company.

    Cons

There is too much pressure daily to sell bank products even if you work at a slow branch and you have the same customers over and over again.
