    Disapproves of CEO

I have been working at Wells Fargo full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

The company has a good culture. There are a lot of virtuous individuals who work here.

    Cons

They don't hire from within at pace near to turnover. A lot of skilled people move on because the job doesn't pay enough. The management blames turnover on why raises are so low. This line of business obtained World Class service ranking this last year and the account managers had to deal with a catastrophic error in our software for nearly a week before resolution. Yet raises were tiny for everyone.

For the last year I achieved all of the things that I could within my postion. There is nothing else for me to learn, and yet my manager isn't trying to move me into another position in the company. I was forced to reapply to my own job and I lost it in a reorg. This company doesn't care about my development, and would rather keep me stuck training in new hires than actually want to retain me.

    Advice to Management

Hire from within more. Incentivize talent to stay in your company. Your departments are disconnected and miscommunicating, you need to get multidepartment subject matter experts together for discussions.

I worked at Wells Fargo full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

Great benefits, strong company, cares about employees at the corporate level.

    Cons

Recent business line Sr. management delivers conflicting message regarding 'going the extra mile for customers' and actually delivering it. Too much bureaucracy and overhead cost.

I worked at Wells Fargo full-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

Great coworkers, good benefits and fair compensation. Flexible schedule.

    Cons

Drive to improve volume, quality, and accuracy all at the same time. It might be better to choose one as priority for improvement with a commitment to maintain in other areas. Fast market growth made it difficult to keep up with volume and manage risk well.

    Advice to Management

Choose a priority rather than more AND better AND faster all at the same time.
