      Pros

Good benefits and remote/WFH for the time being...

      Cons

Lack of direction from upper management leaving middle management to figure out how to interpret amidst continuing to manage active projects. Reorgs occurring to flatten structure but often at the expense of nebulously formed groups that have a mash-up of different skills that often don't make sense.

      Pros

-Benefits package -Wells look good on a resume

      Cons

-Cliquey management teams -New company direction ruins a lot of career and development plans for employees -Compensation lower than other banks -Clear lack of vision from upper management, the bank is at fault for almost all of the issues/scandals that it faces. -The company will have a major "focus" that it hammers into its team members for a few weeks/months, then drops the idea completely and moves on to something else. It's blatantly obvious that all of these ideas (Packages of change, change for the better, customer first, the recent complaints emphasis...) are just to appease some regulator, but the part that makes my laugh the most is how we are still failing to comply with the regulators' standards. -If you are a motivated individual, I'd encourage you to consider other avenues. Because of the scandals Wells has faced in the past, there are no sales goals, which many employees have taken as "we don't have to do anything more than the bare minimum." It creates a disheartening work environment for those trying to get ahead.

      Wells Fargo Wrecks resumes

      Pros

      Decent salaries and great benefits.

      Cons

No opportunity for growth regardless of how well you're doing, no support from management, team members are disengaged, Mgr's expect you to work hard and sell products but doesn't compensate you. Management will only focus on your weaknesses even when you feel your strengths trumps. No recognition, no motivation from management. When doing annual reviews they will only focus on what needs improvements to avoid giving you an annual raise. Upper management expects the impossible from branch managers which creates negative working environments in the branch. Wells Fargo is changing to become only a phone bank/ digital institution. Branch team members aren't knowledgeable about anything bank-related and are required to transfer customers to outside departments, phonebank, or online instead of helping them in the branch. If you want a great banking experience DO NOT WORK HERE. WF has a horrible reputation and other banks look down upon WF employees as if they're crooks so if I were you I would avoid putting WF on your resume.

      Pros

The constant change. If you don’t like something nine times out of 10 it will change the pay is good

      Cons

Upper management sucks. Need to introduce universal banker roles to make responsibilities even
