    Pros

Good company culture, had good benefits and internal resources. Religious-based practices were a little strange to people outside of that locale, but people were nice.

    Cons

Company didn't know how to manage other locations outside of HQ. Little opportunity outside of corporate office. Management culture was not open to criticism. Oversight of managers in other time zones was poor, to the point of misconduct and some employees being non-performing stowaways in remote locations.

    Advice to Management

The company is a shadow of what it was previously. Either the lessons have been learned or they don't care.

    Pros

Awesome work place culture and environment

    Cons

Lack of accountability caused individual department heads to create silos and fiefdoms.

    Advice to Management

Exit the business since you never hired a strong chief operating officer.

    Pros

They have a great family oriented culture, great values, promotes christian values
The management compensates well and bonus were before the real estate bubble burst
Senior management takes the entire company on lavish trips yearly.
    Work relationships are very important
    They promote from within

    Cons

Not diverse enough seems to be an old southern boys club.
Senior management doesn't live up to the christian values, so its better if they don't publicly advocate it
Because work relationships are very important, promotions are based on a buddy system, so if you want to move up, make sure you hang out with your managers and supervisors so that they can get to know you more.
No real career path, you have to figure out other departments by yourself.
Investor Services department is the most stressful environment and moving to other departments takes a while or may never happen

    Advice to Management

Great corporate culture, wonderful compensation however, not all women want to be stay home moms and want a career in life. work on removing the glass ceiling for women and people of color.

    Cons

Continual layoffs as a result of bad management decisions

    Advice to Management

Look more at the people and less at the tests. Develop true ways to evaluate employees instead of generic metrics that don't measure what they're supposed to measure
