I worked at Welocalize full-time for less than a year

    Pros

Did not really work there long enough to know all the ins and outs. Good pay.

    Cons

Training could be better. Paint a bit of a bigger picture, would help tremendously especially in the beginning.

    Advice to Management

Same about the training. Overall good management, have always been very supportive.

I worked at Welocalize full-time for more than a year

    Pros

If you are bored sitting at home, it's a good place to hang out!

    Cons

No opportunities for growth. No chance at any salary increases. (if they promise, don't trust them) Nobody cares if your role changes completely on the the client side and get more responsibilities and duties than what you were originally assigned to do. No professional management. Overall welocalize's perspective is to hire unqualified bodies to fill seats and to swindle their clients.

I worked at Welocalize for less than a year

    Pros

The wage is reasonable, the workplace is nice, good coworkers that will help you get on board. If you're lucky you can work extra hours.

    Cons

No health benefits, scheduling is disorganized, your hours might be cut. Few possibilities to grow, you can't use shuttles for commuting.

I have been working at Welocalize

    Pros

Easy interview, interesting linguistic tasks, fun to work among people from all over the world.

    Cons

Disrespect, everyone feels like being disposable, replaceable and miserable. They pay is ok, but there's no stability or professional growth, just a good chance to earn some cash. Moreover, the lab stuff (Apple employees, feeling superior to you) treat you like dump foreigners in most cases.

    Advice to Management

Respect people or the rumor about Welocalize will spread over. By the way, Menlo and Moravia pay more to testers. When you negotiate your pay with Welocalize ask for more.
