    Pros

Great work environment, upper management more that cares for their employee’s needs, Braintree location easy to get to just off the highway, very positive outlook for growing company

    Cons

    Parking is not that great

    Advice to Management

I have worked at Welsh for a year. To be honest it looks like the people that have written the bad reviews were probably employees of the previous owner and did not like change because from where I am sitting this company is a great company to work for. Benefit, salary, time off is nothing short of what you would get anyplace else. The fact that they have employees that returned for employment says something right there....

    - Transportation to Braintree office, if you don't have a car, can be tough

I have been working at Welsh Consulting full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

Good working conditions - new offices in Braintree Management has tried hard to improve work/life balance Pay is on higher end for location Advancement opportunities While it is true that the company has had some ups and downs, as a whole they have worked hard lately to make this a place that people would want to work at. While there are not many cons I have experienced since being here, the primary is that they were sometimes slow to react to changes that need to be made in both personell and culture- both that have improved dramatically

    Advice to Management

Focus on the careers of the employees that want to be here, coach them and encourage them to be an active part of the company, continue to provide a wholistic view of the business

-You get a mug with your name on it when you're brought onboard in the office. -Okay job experience for those straight out of college

    Cons

-Company morale is very low -Since the company moved to Braintree there's nothing in the vicinity to go to. -Managers meet everyday for an hour in Charlie's office. -If you're pulled from a client, you're not given an explanation. -No one is allowed to do any certification reading or simply self-improvement during down time unless authorized. -CEO speaks to employees instead of managers. -IT manager evaluates non-IT...

    I worked at Welsh Consulting

    Pros

Benefits, Good co workers- but don't get too attached. It was like being on Survivor - you would go to work and somebody left or got voted out...( fired).

    Cons

One of the most misleading companies I've worked for. I was contacted by an outside HR consultant after sending a resume in. After an initial screen I had a phone screen with the president of the company. That followed by a 2hour in person interview and not one but two assessment tests. I should have been alerted to the fact that the owner/ president didn't initially know how the salary / commission would be structured....
