    Pros

I would say the best part about Wequassett is how nice everyone is. It is a culture unlike any other. They are the nicest people and they realize that everyone makes mistakes.

    Cons

Honestly, I can't say anything bad about Wequassett. I loved going into work every day!

    Advice to Management

I worked at Wequassett Resort and Golf Club part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Surrounded by mostly passionate and really hard workers, really good pay, excellent employee training

    Cons

worked later than most restaurant jobs as sometimes we would have to wait for weddings to end, break down, and set up for another wedding late at night (but then we got to share in their tipping pool!)

    Advice to Management

try not to get as stressed out during busy nights! sometimes everyone is working their absolute hardest

I worked at Wequassett Resort and Golf Club full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Really look after their staff's wellbeing and morale. Lots of morale boosting activities. Hours are low for a high end kitchen. Staff accommodation given, (though it's not luxurious)! The Cape is fun for seasonal workers

    Cons

Not the best kitchen facilities. Awful pay rates for seasonal chefs ($11 an hour). Crazy busy in the summer. No overtime - many people got a second job to boost income

    Advice to Management

Staff morale boosting is fine so long as you back this up with good pay rates, or at the very least, overtime

    Former Employee - Anonymous Employee

    Pros

Constant training is provided and management is always working on improving service and food quality. You are always encourage to do as much as you can to please the guest even if it means expending some dollars to buy a present (they would refund it)

    Cons

Very limited to none room to grow. It seems like all managers are related. Training courses are the same every year so it gets dull quite soon. Tips are pooled with way to many people so you end up working a lot and making no money while feeding some parasites.
