I have been working at Werner Enterprises full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Decent salary/bonus plan. Benefits and 401K are okay in comparison to my previous empolyers. All of the operations/logistics team are amazing people to work with.

    Cons

Work 50-55 hours per week salary and personnel are paid on 40-45 hour work week depending on the dept.

    Advice to Management

Higher more people so good hard working employees don't feel like going home and doing the math to figure hour much they are truly making hourly with the additional work hours.

I have been working at Werner Enterprises full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Easy going and great management. They aren't too strict, but remain professional. If you work hard, and show you are constantly gaining knowledge of the company, there is a great chance for growth and internal promotions (Trust me as I am one of these cases). You work alongside vast groups and ideas are always looked upon openly.

    Cons

The pay is not competitive with other transportation companies, and you are likely to have more job responsibility with less pay. They will also hire new younger employees, and pay them twice what qualified good veterans of the company make in the same job title. There is also not enough departmental structure. Many people have too much on their plate, while others have nothing to do in a day. Needs revamped for better productivity.

    Advice to Management

Pay the employees that have been with the company, work hard, and bring in/maintain business, the pay they deserve in order to retain your valuable employees. New employees are not always better than current employees with experience that need to be valued. Look into structuring departments for better productivity and customer satisfaction. Not necessarily more job titles, but better distribution of workforce.
