I have been working at Werner Enterprises full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

If you can be your own person. Know your limits. Company will work with you. Departments work with drivers and other departments to get things done. Equipment is new and updated regularly. They are quick to fix equipment when an issue is reported. They also are starting to hold drivers responsible for their job performance....

    Cons

Like any job if you are not a self starter/ self motivated, or can not manage a task in a timely fashion you will not survive.

    Advice to Management

    Keep making the improvements.

    Pros

Well I will tell you if your new you have to start from the bottom just like everyone else has after a year with no problems you will make money. Plus I'm coming back I've learned how to keep the door closed and run to make money I like everyone there so you all take what the new ones tell you no money no its bc thay don't know how to run yet L.O.L

    Cons

Learning I was new and wish I would of stayed there trucking is a challenge learn it and keep the door closed and run

    Advice to Management

The training in 2012 was bad didn't learn much logs and backing was the hardest all new ones need yard time so many hours and extra log classes

I worked at Werner Enterprises full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Good miles and competitive pay, long hauls if that's what you're looking for and short runs if you can't handle it. No forced freight.

    Cons

Not the best organized training program or trainers but I have meet people that were trained well coming out of their program so like all things I guess it depends on who train and how serious they take it.

    Advice to Management

Have an open line of communication with the trainees so that any problems can be taken care of before they become bigger issues.
