I have been working at West Coast University full-time

    Pros

    Good Salary, nice facility

    Cons

Very poor toxic work environment. Money is the bottom line. Heavy workload. Poor turnover. Lots of instability. There is a lot of unfair treatment at campuses. There is much favoritism from Management to certain types of people. Management at the campus level is unqualified, unfair and cutthroat. Most of the deans and directors have very little leadership experience. University Administration micromanages,
and is almost abusive with their treatment
to employees. Can’t keep Deans at campuses. Don’t care about employees.

    Advice to Management

Get qualified people to direct and lead campuses. Lower workload. More time between terms.

I worked at West Coast University full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

The only pro was the pay and the education requirement to obtain the job.

    Cons

In the time that I worked in the admissions department the administrators had a clique within themselves, i personally believed they undermined and excluded certain employees. They constantly reminded staff their job was disposable and they only way to complete the job was they way THEY WANTED , there was no room for creativity .
Over all administrators in my opinion where ineffective if creating a welcoming environment between management and employees.

    Advice to Management

Create a more welcoming environment, find a way to create a better work life balance for employees away employees for more creativity.

I have been working at West Coast University full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

WCU is really diverse in staff and students.

    Cons

This company over promises, and under delivers. There isn't room for growth because the company overall isn't that big yet.

    Advice to Management

Tell employees the truth, no one wants a run around.

    Pros

West Coast Univ. is a good stepping stone. The benefits are good. You get paid PTO and sick time. Work environment is ok, depending on what campus you work at.

    Cons

No real company culture. Almost feels like your opinions and concerns do not matter.

    Advice to Management

Do more town hall meeting and adopt a organizational culture.
