    Pros

Get to work in my pajamas and don't have to worry about what I look like. Better pay when they need people to work.

    Cons

Low pay and no benefits. There are no hours at certain times of the year.

    Helped make ends meet

    Pros

The flexibility of making your own schedule and being able to work from home was really nice. Having taxes taken out of my income and getting a W-2 at the end of the year instead of a 1099 was great. It is a great way to make additional income if you are already financially secure.

    Cons

When I first started with West you could remove and pick up hours easily. Eventually you weren't able to remove hours but had to post hours for shift pick-ups by others. It was so hard to get someone to pick up hours. There was no way to get tie off for vacations, life events or emergencies. I was not able to speak with anyone in the human resources department if I had an issue that needed addressing. There are no benefits and advancement to different project unless a current project had ended.

    Not bad at all!

    Pros

The best things about this job are that you can work from home and pick your own hours. Help is always available when you need it. Also, the co-workers and higher ups that I had to deal with were all pleasant.

    Cons

The pay is minimum wage for the skill I was assigned to so that sucked. It can be difficult to get the hours you want during the 'slow' months. There are absolutely no benefits. It is difficult sometimes to deal with the ever changing policies.

Overall very disorganized. Wish I knew this beforehand

    Pros

You can work at home so there's no commute, your an actual employee, your guaranteed an hourly rate, has employee connect site where you can share experiences with other employees.

    Cons

You are constantly pressured about your sales and stats numbers. Rules are constantly changing all the time. You can get 3 different answers from your 'Pals' depending on the time of day. They are suppose to be there to help you and some of them are rude and sound like they don't want to be there. And I've been cheated out of the commission that was due to me for no reason at all. No one can tell me why. The supervisors won't even respond to my e-mails. You also never get any pay raises, ever. You'll always be making $9-$10 an hour no matter how long you've been there. There's no benefits. No room to grow. Seems like they're always trying to find what you could have possibly did wrong instead of your accomplishments. I check my e-mail regularly, they send warnings about every new thing you can get written up for. Their programs that you have to use while on the phone with a customer are very bad. They are always crashing, going very slow, or simply not working at all! Once, I was out of work for a week and a half because of a technical issue and they wouldn't pay me for something that was their fault! And they are still always having technical issues and its very frustrating. I'm leaving, SOON! I will gladly commute to work.

    Pros

The flexibility, the pals are helpful and anytime I want to pick up hours I can. The company sends emails to remind us to pick up extra hrs if we want them. Your an employee not a contractor.

    Cons

The only con is it starts at minimum wage. The other benefits out way the pay especially for extra income and just starting out in a home telecenter. Iam not required to sit at a computer 8but hrs a day I can pick every hour I choose to work.
