    Pros

Good company to work for with strong family values. Very attentive to needs of individual employees, very good upper management. Very fair pay.

    Cons

Intense and sometimes aggressive office environment, sometimes lacking in customer service skills due to high-tension workplace.

    Advice to Management

Demand that employees work in a professional manner, showing each other respect. Enforce rules when employees over-step boundaries and do not treat each other respectfully and in a professional manner.

I have been working at Western Branch Diesel full-time

    Pros

Technicians are a great group that value the customer. Owners truly care about employees. Tools to perform the job are accessible, if not can be obtained with few questions asked.

    Cons

Typical lack of responsibility that comes with a larger company with vague job descriptions.

    Advice to Management

Do your absolute best to keep the technicians happy that take pride in their work and strive to see the company succeed and drop the ones that just show up for the pay check and do a "good enough" job

    Negative Outlook

I have been working at Western Branch Diesel full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Very few lay-offs. Once you have been there for a few years, you won't have to push to hard..

    Cons

Little room for advancement. Management doesn't have the ability to reward the top performers. Everyone is treated equal, which isn't fair for the people who have motivation.
