I worked at Western University of Health Sciences full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

The time off is awesome! Paid holidays and winter break off, paid! Benefits are ok, when I was originally reading reviews people were raving about the benefits but they are expensive and high co-pays. The people are very friendly and approachable.

    Cons

The computer systems are outdated, process is outdated, and the university itself is outdated. Raises are terrible and upper management is all about putting money in their pockets. There is no employee recognition. You're taxed on everything, even when you win a $10 gift card. There is definitely no future here

    Advice to Management

Care a little more for your employees and recognize them not just faculty!! They are getting paid enough.
