    Pros

    Pay, hours, C-Suite Executives

    Cons

Petty behavior, Cadiness, Micromanages which prevents you from growing and improving. Communication doesn't happen face to face only through email which can come off in a negative way.

I worked at Westmoreland Coal full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Growing company, looking for more acquisitions.

    Cons

Management is quick to fire people and does not develop talent. They do not provide much guidance or direction to employees, but expect you to perform at a high level. There has been a huge amount of turn over in the past two years, from Senior Management, down to lower level jobs.

    Advice to Management

Develop the talent that is already working at the company. Provide guidance and leadership to get good performance from your people.

  3. "Went from great to poor as the higher management changed."

    Disapproves of CEO

    Pros

Most of the employees are great, decent pay and benefits, history of the organization is one to be proud of.

    Cons

As the corporate executives changed so did the treatment of employees. Everything became about the executives. Such a shame.

    Advice to Management

Change out the majority of corporate leadership in order to return to being an ethical company.
