I have been working at Whataburger full-time

    Pros

Really flexible scheduling; Managers are freaking awesome its an overall great place to work. Do your job and get hours, if you come to mess off expect your hours to get cut.

    Cons

If you let them they will stick you on 1 position and you will be stuck there unless you specify what it is that you wanna do.

    Advice to Management

Stop being so lenient to these kids, put your foot down every so often.

I have been working at Whataburger full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

Flexible scheduling, 24 hour operation More pay than cashier or cook Benefits- limited, including accrued sick leave Networking opportunity- because everybody eats!

    Cons

Inconsistent scheduling, and fighting for hours As part of management team, errs are still your fault, with none of the paid bonuses the real managers receive. The exceptionally rude and disrespectful customers that think they are the center of the universe, whom do not comprehend that there is a lot of talent and skill required to work in a fast paced kitchen.

    Pros

    Good pay and flexible schedule.

    Cons

Poor management Overall Poor communication No discipline

    Advice to Management

I worked at Whataburger part-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

Discount food, flexible schedule, weekly pay.

    Cons

Management, surveys as a primary success metric when only "highly satisfied" counts.

    Advice to Management

Get rid of bad managers, they cost more money in turnover than it would cost to replace them. To corporate: rethink the survey strategy, it is not aligned with how people fill out surveys.

I have been working at Whataburger part-time for more than a year

    Pros

*50% off on food all the time *usual! a flexible schedule *decent job with the right team

    Cons

*Gets busy very often *Management does not care about you *too lenient, often under staffed *you WILL be overworked *I did NOT receive any training, I had to learn by myself. Made it more stressful

    Advice to Management

Stop promoting people who don't care about their job. 90% of the team leads and managers get on their phones and leave the team members to do all the work.
