    Pros

benefits are good, hours are also well planned. When you are shirt staffed it is miserable and you can work double shifts but breaks and food discounts are very reasonable

    Cons

I feel as if they sort of want you to consider staying there. The difference of service between hours is also crazy. hard time balancing school and work

    Advice to Management

Keep encouraging employees to stay but do not be too harsh on them. Keep the training program, but at the same time don't throw new employees into rush hour. Respect employees schedules if they are students.

    Pros

Workday goes by quickly except during football meal season. If you have everyone trained well the shift runs smoothly. Getting to know guests. Easy to train new employees as long as you do it correctly.

    Cons

Have to run with a very lean crew to hit labor which results in getting your butt kicked a lot. Minimum wage or just above employees are all you can have so bottom of the barrel employee pool is what you work with. If you do get someone good they don't stay because they can find more money elsewhere. Assistant managers are kids and are sometimes undependable. Corp. doesn't communicate or roll out new procedures very well.

    Advice to Management

Spend more on labor (hours and pay)and less on your horribly ineffective "advertising campaigns".

I worked at Which Wich part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

I guess getting discounts on food was nice? Also there were some pretty cool people that worked with me, but that's about it.

    Cons

They hired on about fifty people, and then two weeks later told us they overhired and were going to cut 60% of us. After that, I just started looking for a new job. Very mismanaged. Oh, and BTW, the "house chips" are just those Kettle brand salt and vinegar chips.

    Advice to Management

Next time, maybe hire less people from the beginning instead of making 50 people compete for their jobs. Seems a little unfair. I'm glad I got another job before getting canned, but come on.

I worked at Which Wich part-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

The environment at Which Wich Superior Sandwiches is collaborative and fast-paced. It is a modern company that emphasizes good vibes and teamwork. It was a fun place to work.

    Cons

Sometimes long hours are required, but it flies by when it is busy. It can be difficult to memorize every item on the menu since the restaurant offers so much.

I have been working at Which Wich part-time

    Pros

Everything expected is explained adequately and is available in writing. Fast paced and good working environment. Quality food and good atmosphere.

    Cons

As with all restaurant work, standing is required for the entire shift. While I enjoy the work, it only pays slightly more thaninimitable wage.

    Advice to Management

Train, and retrain, and then train some more. High turnover due to an improving economy makes training essential to consistency. Train and retrain.

  11. "Shaky Management"

Former Employee - Anonymous Employee in Frisco, TX

    Pros

Flexible hours with a relatively laid back culture allows for a mostly stress free and friendly environment. Which Wich ordering format also allows for an easier production process.

    Cons

Not a lot of mobility options. Management was inconsistent and ill-prepared quite frequently. Often under staffed.
