Unfortunately, there is no consistency between brands or even within the brand. First, I noticed I was not given the same privileges as others with the same title. Though I have more experience, I was paid less. Found out that your ability to work from home is dependent on manager. My manager typically works from home but expects all other team members to be present especially if they are not in the office. I tend to do more than other associates within the company who have the same title. More is asked of me because of my experience but I am not compensated for it.

If you aren’t skilled at cultivating big spenders, then you can’t expect to make a career at WHBM. But the employee discounts can be very generous. So if you want a new wardrobe, then getting a sales position here is the way to go.
